All the while, the vast majority of statements by those of us who do not want him as the coach are all just facts (e.g., his record at Ole Miss, his bumbling of the OC fire/hire/search, less than stellar recruiting, inability to perform better than his predecessor).

Win the SEC West. That was the standard since Saban established the program, you have to do it every so often. Miles hadn't done it recently enough.
This was not a rebuilding job when O took over, we should not reward him for making it into one.

There is 5 pages of posters giving actual responses and you come in the thread and Pooh Pooh all over it stating the obvious “well there will be haters no matter what.” No shite, dumbass, thanks for your deep insight there. Got any other nuggets of wisdom you wish to bestow upon this thread?
To your credit though, you are actually here, while tiger ree, gray tiger, p&g and the like are nowhere to be found. It’s much easier for them to believe , like you, there is nothing this coach can do to win the favor of his detractors
It makes the “us vs them” narrative much more convincing when you’ve convinced yourself there’s no way anyone is capable of rethinking their position.

Part of LSUs problem is the schedule for the SEC.
No rotation whatsoever which means that on most normal years, the WEST has a much tougher job to get to the SEC final than the EAST does.
Many teams in the EAST never have to play Bama to get thru to the SEC final. All teams in the WEST have a tougher and one could even say unfair year after year schedule.
Besides, it would be great to travel to those campuses we never get to go to.
