Even with Rodgers back, the Vikings are the team to beat in the North, just like the Saints are in the South
The team that has had one winning record in the past 4 years is the team to beat?

and you must realize.. The Packers pick next year depends on the Saints record. So its in my best interest to truly believe the Saints will have a down year

I never understand why people bring up teams more than maybe 1 year back as if they're indicative of the next year. Too much changes year to year to say that 7-9 3 years ago has anything to do with 2018.
On paper, saints and falcons are the 2 best in the NFC south. Anyone saying either of these teams is the "team to beat" in the division wouldn't be wrong.

Because most people on this board are dumb and cant think for themselves

I think having consistently bad seasons back to back to back with one good season sprinkled in is definitely a good reason to look past just one season. Yes, a lot can change from on season to the next. But I think you can discredit a consistent pattern like that. I think the Saints are better than 7-9, but I think it’s laughable that poster called the Saints the team to beat. Hell, the most consistent thing in all of the NFL is that no one ever knows who the team to beat in the NFC South is. It changes every year.

think the offense being good doesn't depend on Watson at all but Bill O'Brien's offense and if he can change it to fit Watson.
That already happened when Watson was playing QB last year. It went back to the same ol after he got hurt
ETA: Everyone was better with Watson playing, offensive line didn’t matter as much. Lamar Miller had room to run, Will Fuller put up gaudy numbers, etc

Let's pump the breaks real quick. This has happened with about every single scrambling qb that starts their rookie season. Then they come back to reality real quick after that season. I think he won't have as hard of a sophomore slump as Dak, but won't be as dynamic as he was last year.

Member when the Eagles had back to back 7-9 seasons before winning the Super Bowl? I member.

Saint's on their second year with a new coach and new qb (most important position in football)? Not all situations are created equal.

They had the best offense in football for the 7 weeks he played, I don’t think you can say that about all the other QBs. And it was becuase of him, not the running game.
Not to mention he had the most TD passes in first 7 games of a career for anyone, ever
ETA: I guess what I’m trying to say is, he probably will have some troubles, but to act like he’s every other running QB before him is a little silly. He had by far a better college career than any of them, and he played exceedingly well (albeit in a limited timeframe) in an offense designed for him

To be honest though, Saints, Vikings, and Falcons can be swapped around any way depending on the Sunday they play.

Vick:
22 games, 56% passer, 3299 yds, 21 TDs, 11 INT, 150.6 Rating
235 carries, 1299, 5.5 per rush, 17 TDS
Watson:
38 Games, 67% passer, 10167 yards, 90 TDS, 32 Picks, 157.5 Rating
435 carries, 1934, 4.4 per rush, 26 TDs
Watson was one of the most accomplished college QBs ever, and played in the Natty 2 years in a row, and beat a great Bama team
Vick was a better rusher, but Watson was the far better passer

thanks for showing you're arse and proving you are clueless. Jordy hasn't been their #1 WR in 2 years.
So Jordy with 97 receptions on 152 targets with 1257 yds and 14TD’s wasn’t their #1 receiver in 2016? Who is showing their arse?

AGREED... Watson had way better talent around him for those two yaers... The game has changed so much in between those years...
Vick was amazing in 1999..... Watson was A VERY good college player, but Vick was Vince Young like in 1999............
