Watson is still a turnover liability too. 9 TOs in 7 games played isn't great. If he can get his TOs down then they will be a good squad

Aaron Jones averaged 5.5 ypc last year.. higher than Mark Ingram has ever had in his ENTIRE career.

Not the largest sample size but 81 carries isn't a drop in a bucket. So needless to say there is some potential there. And this was mostly with Brett Hundley at QB. '

So yes, "Yikes"

Saints are stacked. They are the team to beat in the South and probably the NFC.

Top 5 in NFC

Saints
Eagles
Packers
Rams
Vikings

and for comparisons sake lets look at Mark Ingram's rookie season. With the Saints 2 years removed from a Super Bowl and Mark coming off a Heisman victory...

122 carries for a whopping 3.9 y/c. "Yikes"

Titans lucked out that Houston and the colts were injury plagued.

Houston is good if they stay healthy.

Colts blow dick without Luck and he can't even throw a damn ball.

Not sure the Jags can be that good again.

Titans same as Jags.

NFC Norse, South, and West are better. AFC East could be a surprise if rookie QBs can play well. NFC East should be back to form with the Giants, cowboys, and Eagles with the Redskins having a shot. AFC West looking decent as well.

Point is, AFC South is nowhere near the best.

well considering Aaron Rodgers is their QB I doubt many fans want them to be too much higher. They'd rather Aaron Rodgers get more opportunities to dominate. Unlike Drew, he doesn't need a strong run game to do well at this point in his career

But hey keep thinking the team that had 3/4 years at 7-9 is better than the guaranteed playoff team

That's about as relevant to 2018 as your 7-9 season last year.

Saints have one of the best defenses in the league along with a killer run game and one of the GOAT slinging the ball. One fluke play away from the NFC Championship game and should do well this year.

Saints were 10th in total D, Packers were 26th. Offense doesn't do it all.

FIFY.
Watson will be figured out this season. He will come back down to reality and be slightly better than Dak.

Sure fooled me since the only thing you said relating to your "point" was that Brees wasn't getting younger.

If you're trying to make a point about something, you should probably try to type it out instead of assuming people will just get it through osmosis or some shite.

Probably, but I meant more their defense staying healthy.

The butt chin is still very good on offensive scheming so we'll see what happens with Watson.

I think the offense being good doesn't depend on Watson at all but Bill O'Brien's offense and if he can change it to fit Watson.

Getting back to the OP though. Jags could be the real deal and maybe beat all the teams in the NFC South, but overall the NFC South is far better than the AFC South. The NFC North is miles better as well.

that is why I said "at this point in his career". at some point Rodgers too will need a run game to lean on. But that time is not now. So for Blue to make a point of Green Bay's weak(in his opinion) running game makes little sense. GB doesn't need a top 10 running game to win. So it shouldn't be a very strong argument for which team is better.

hope that clears things up

Yeah that was my point

Defenses might figure him out, but we'll see what BOB can do.

Am I the only one wondering why the Vikings and Packers aren't switched on this one? Even with Rodgers back, the Vikings are the team to beat in the North, just like the Saints are in the South

See, this makes sense, but in no way was that conveyed in your previous posts.

Be careful though. Saints won in 2009 because of a strong run game AND Brees being ridiculous. We went 7-9 with a subpar run game and Brees still being ridiculous. Obviously defense played a hand as well. You always need a little balance, even as a pass heavy team.
