If the reports are true that season tickets are down 16%, this mentality has already proven fatal. Shouldn't have been afraid to get into a "bidding war" or to pay Jimbo his $65 million that it would have taken to get him.

So your solution is to keep a guy clearly in over his head as head football coach and keep an athletic director who does nothing but piss people off and whose greatest coaches can be claimed as others' hires?
