re: When do Tickets go on sale to the public?

obviously not. Tickets are sold out
Right, and scalpers having nearly 20% of the Arena posted into ticketexchange and Stubhub at this very moment at prices far exceeding face value has a lot to do with that. I said it earlier, but there's no reason for one person to be buying 16 tickets in a single row anywhere in the Arena. And you see that all over those resale sites.
Just think about that, tickets haven’t even gone on sale to the general public yet and already nearly 20% of the arena is listed on NBAticketexchange and StubHub alone.

No they are not. They are expensive through ticketmaster (non resale ones) and are a pain in the arse to get, but they are still available.

Already got and flipped my tix.

Not sold out just double the price. I love how it was all about making it right for season tickets hold and now tickets are priced at double what they were Monday.

It was advertised that STHs get discounted pricing on playoff tickets in the emails. Although, 100% seems a little sketchy. (Edited for the math error).

A discount sure but double is a slap in the face. $120/ticket for the top 10 rows behind the goal.

I just looked and probably a few hundred non resales left. All in the corners or behind the basket
Posted on 4/25/18 at 4:23 pm to JohnnyKilroy
yeah mainly solos and last few rows.

Everyone who used the "season" code purchased at STH discount of $53 a ticket. They canceled 2,500 tickets per game and resold those tickets for $120. That's a quick extra profit of $500,000.

It's people like this who are largely responsible for insane ticket prices. I guarantee you the Pelicans organization looked at the resale market for round 1 in order to set the market for round 2.

Those same news outlets that ran the stories of the Pelicans cancelling the tickets because of their "loyalty" to season ticket holders need to run a story on how they doubled (or nearly doubled) the cost of tickets for those same people. What a crock of shite that is. Bad look and practice by the Pelicans.

I got 2 for each game but definitely not happy about the prices. almost $250 per game to sit in the very back of the nosebleeds in the corner and one game the tickets were on the baseline because ticketmaster fricked up the processing of my first order. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I didn't know how easy it was to resell if I don't want to go to one or can't make it.

and thats the prob, people like this who go to games, and support their team all year, then get priced out playoff tickets just so they fatten their pocket books.. congrats pels administration2
I mean it's a business, as long as someone is willing to pay and support the team I don't care. It's more problematic if half the arena is "golden state fans".
I usually go to 10-15 games a year, depending on what my schedule allows. I got to go to the game 3 throttling of Portland for 65 so I'm happy.

So glad they took care of the loyal season ticket holders so they can make extra money off of us lowely Baton Rouge dwellers who have trouble making games.
Don't forget the converted "Heat and Lakers fans" that became "Warriors fans" the past couple years.
That's who I plan on price gouging with my tickets.
I sort of understand non-STH frustrations... but sort of don't.
I buy in, and I buy in every year. That SHOULD have advantages.
I'm a paid member of the US Soccer Supporter's Club and the Pearl Jam fan club. I get entered into lotteries to buy tickets for the good shite (USA vs. Mexico or Pearl Jam at Wrigley) when I want to go.
Either buy in in advance, or be okay with market forces when the market gets heated.

These assholes sold top down in the 300 level. There are a lot of good uppers in the first 8 rows available now, none of which were there at 2. Frick these guys!

You have a decent point however it’s a very bad look for the pelicans when their salesman literally call you monthly begging you to buy season tickets. All of the insiders who are people who have in the past have given some thought to buying season tickets are going to be very turned off at the ridiculous upper deck ticket prices which are double what a season ticket holder would pay for thoer “extra” tickets. A price break sure but double come on.

Both of those things are lies.

If tickets were bought day 1 from a STH account, they kept them. If they weren’t, they were canceled and went back in the pool. Because technically STH got their chance to add on (again their tickets weren’t cancelled), they went after the partial plans today. They have automated code that buys up tickets nowadays to hot events. It’s not just the Pelicans. It sucks and I’d caution those people buying on stubhub right now. You could be buying cancelled tickets that the scalper no longer has in their possession.

heck i dnt blame you. Its your tickets.. if you can get a major profiy, by all means do it. I sold 4 saints/pats last yr for $1200 that i got frer lol. My issue is with the way ticketmaster did it.
