I am very glad he did not have the weapon in his hands when the cops did roll up. He could have easily been a victim of "black man with a gun", better to shoot first and figure out why he doesn't fit the suspect description later.

I remember me and my friends would joke that we would never fight a naked man. We agreed that if we ever got into a situation where we pissed off some massive guy who could easily push our shite in, we could just drop our pants and he would automatically leave us alone.
On a serious note, This guy is a hero. And I like that he is freaking humble about it too.
The best part. He isnt out to be a media whore over this, just giving his honest feelings. I mean he was at waffle house at 3 am. He was probably there with a coupe friends drunk after leaving the bar/club. The only thing likely on his mind was being able to see his daughter at least 1 last time. That is commendable as frick.
