Treasury Secretary faces criticism for travel expense but spent 267% less than prior year

A classic example of what the idiotic left will label a whatoboutism if you bring up the fact that yes that's a lot of money for travel , but the last guy actually spend double that.

Of course. The obama admin spent like crazy on stuff like this but nobody even gave it a second thought but the Trump team is expected to save every penny or there is total outrage. The double standard never ceases to amaze me

Only if you can't do basic math and determine that his monthly average was far less than the previous Secretary, and like you I have no idea if that number is high or not, It sounds high, but how much traveling must the Sec of Treasury do?

And I don't even know if what a reasonable transition period is before traveling becomes more of a job function. I would like to know what his expenses are and the trend up to this point before making any judgements. I think it's all a bit decieving on both sides without more information.
Edit: Nevermind the OP was more decieving; the article provided more information.
