Another reason you know this isn’t true: I’m a germaphobe. There’s no way I would let people pee on each other around me, no way,” he quotes Trump as saying.

Lol, anyone who volunteers some weak arse, weirdly specific defense like this is DEFINITELY into water sports...

I find it hilarious when someone who clearly has zero legal experience comments with such hubris and even belittles others. You don't know what you don't know, alter. So best to pipe down before you make yourself look even worse.

I find it hilarious when idiots have no real point to add, so they resort to just claiming that others don't know what they're talking about without adding anything to the conversation and calling people alters.
Trump hates leaks so much, he's pardoning one of the dudes that outed a CIA agent to the press! That'll show the leakers!

Or rather, it'll show all of his buddies that he has no issue pardoning people who lie to investigators, which is the real goal here.

According to Trump himself and no one else.
Did Jack Lew request military aircraft to take his wife on a European vacation the way the Mnuchin did for his European honeymoon?

Yeah, dude, for sure.

Why do you assume that just because you haven't seen a thread here in a while or maybe your Faux News heroes are too busy covering panda sex à la Tucker Carlson to report on any actual news, it must mean Schiff or Schumer or whatever other Democrat you want to blame for Trump's failings has been hiding?
It's more like the Republican Party as a whole has decided to pull an Elway and retire as champs!

Do you guys believe they'll eventually find something on Trump?

The report he releases is going to be incredibly damning. Will for sure lay out the case for the obvious obstruction of justice Trump has engaged in to cover up crimes by people involved in his campaign. Probably more.

quote:

Do you believe Trump will eventually be indicted?

Mueller is a G-Man through and through. While it is not settled law whether or not a sitting president can be indicted, the official position of the DoJ is that the president cannot be indicted. There is a very good chance that Mueller will decide not to challenge that. In that case, the indictments for Jared Kushner, DJTJ, Page, plus many other Trump associates along with more indictments for Manafort and others already under indictment will make it clear that Trump is guilty of much of what his comrades are guilty of and is only escaping indictment because he is president.

Lying to the FBI to cover up contact with Russian agents during the election is "related to collusion."

You're right! He is!

That pedophile enabler's 15 minutes are up. Sounds like he conveniently "forgot" to procure insurance to avoid the embarrassment of playing to an empty house.

re: Anyone Not Think This is a Witch Hunt?

Witch hunts don't usually result in this many "witches" pleading guilty to crimes. Keep on playing dumb though! You're so good at it!
If Trump wins Louisiana in 2020 after the terrible job he's done as president, all of the shady shite that's come out about him, his campaign, his administration and private businesses, and now THIS...

This state will forever be rightfully known as the cuckiest cucks that ever did cuck.
The FBI didn't raid Cohen's office to determine whether or not Trump had an affair, and I can only hope everyone claiming to think that's what these raids were about is just pretending to be so stupid.

The hush money, even beyond the obvious potential legal pitfalls and violations of campaign finance law, should be concerning to anyone with a brain though. No one should like the fact that the president is so easily blackmailed.

re: The Cohen raid is bait by Mueller

Posted by UofLSU on 4/10/18 at 2:13 pm to

Courts don't approve raids of Attorney offices for the purposes of bait. If Trump feels baited, it's because he knows there's some skeleton in his closet that this raid is likely to turn up.

This thread is no different than the claims that the interview Mueller is seeking with Trump is some kind of perjury trap. It's like they know Trump is going to lie to cover up something worse, and so they want to blame Mueller for doing his job and asking questions.

Is Trump okay? I'm honestly concerned. This latest rant sounded like a man who was just too tired of all the winning.

Is that how Obama got to do that? I don't remember that.

When Obama requested national guard troops be sent to the border, Arnold Schwarzenegger was the governor of California. Beyond that, the request was specific in terms of the number of troops and the time commitment. Schwarzenegger complied willingly.

Of relevance is that, in 2014, Jerry Brown refused to send National Guard troops to the border when Texas and other border states did. He also happens to be the current governor.

Additionally, Trump, as he is wont to do, informed the nation of this "plan" via tweet before any specifics had even been decided upon. Trumpkins should probably hold off on their melting until the governor actually has a request to respond to.

The SINGLE takeaway is in a 50:50 political world, fiduciary duty holds that CEO's should remain as politically nonpartisan/bipartisan as possible.

Put another way, if a corporate CEO buys a newspaper, the public will likely attach his company to obvious bias in the paper, as it should.

Putting aside your false claim of bias, nothing you just said is relevant to the fact that the president is intentionally telling malicious lies about a company in order to damage their bottom line and intimidate the press.

When Trump attacks the "Amazon Washington Post", it's clear that he's being a little bitch and whining because he doesn't like the fact that they report on the train wreck that is his presidency. But Trump isn't the first American president to do this. Nixon was ALMOST as bad about it.

But, when Trump starts intentionally spreading easily disproven lies about a company and using those lies to encourage portions of the executive branch (e.g., the post office) to retaliate against that company, that's a whole 'nother level of banana republicanism. It's shameful to see so many cheering him on over it.

What’s funny to me is the party of “pay your fair share” and “down with the 1%” is defending some of the biggest corporations who get away with not paying their fair share all because of Trump derangement syndrome.

Careful, you might break an ankle trying to do mental gymnastics like that. In any case, Amazon pays its taxes according to the law, and it collects all applicable sales tax from its customers based on the state they live in.

Yeah, I think it's bad for the nation that Trump gave the wealthiest Americans and all corporations a staggering tax cut, but of course it's ridiculous to assume that means I would be okay with Trump attacking specific businesses with obvious lies all as part of a transparent attempt to silence the free press.
quote:

Bezos has a choice:

1) choose to stop publishing anti trump BS in the WAPO

2) let his company and shareholders down

Two takeaways from this post.

1) Trumpkins are well aware that the president's lies about Amazon are motivated, not by concern for USPS or brick and mortar business, but by anger over the free press doing its job instead of kowtowing to him.

2) Trumpkins actually love the fact that their president is willing to torpedo American businesses in order to silence the free press. To them, Trump's fascist streak isn't a bug, it's a feature!

The fact that no show with such high ratings has ever been cancelled.

Tim Allen’s Last Man Standing was doing great in the ratings

Only with the elderly, haha. There is a reason it had the second lowest ad rate of any original programming on the network. A lot of old folks may have been watching, but advertisers weren't willing to pay the big bucks for spots and the show was expensive to make with Tim Allen's salary.

ABC already renewed Roseanne for a second season after just one episode. They aren't going to turn away a cash cow without a damn good reason. Now, Roseanne is legit crazy. This is the woman who grabbed her crotch and spit while singing the national anthem at a game. There's every chance she might say or do something reprehensible enough to get her show pulled between now and the end its run, but despite the Trump victim complex that is going around these days, just saying that she supports Trump is not going to get her show cancelled.
quote:

What was the purpose of her observation about Hogg's admission failures?

And it's not just that she felt the need to comment on it at all. She specifically accused him of whining about it. The kid was answering a specific question about going through the college application process while at the same time helping to organize the march, etc, and all he did was state some facts about the process. The interviewer even asked him as a follow up question if he was surprised schools hadn't reached out to recruit him because of his involvement in the march, and he said that he wasn't because he knows that there are amazing applicants all over the country. It was an incredibly mature and humble statement he was making, and Ingraham was so desperate to talk shite about him that she had to try to manufacture something from it.

I wouldn't say her attack on him was "vicious" or anything, but it was clearly mean spirited, personal, baseless, and irrelevant to any disagreements she might have with him on gun control.
