After seeing the stats on Slinger vs Canada from an Advocate article, there should have been much more meddling.

The meddling yielded zero points in the 1st half against Troy before they went back to Canada's offense.

In fact one of the main complaints I've read is that many decisions have seemed rather lazy.

Which decisions are these? How does one even make a lazy decision?

You’re a clown. Ed fricking Orgeron himself said we would be in the playoffs last year.

Troy disagreed.

And everyone sees through the bullshite excuses you’re already putting in place for the failure coming this season.

I think one could argue not properly vetting a coaching candidate could be considered lazy. Also, hiring friends instead of searching for the best coach out there. Now, maybe he did search and thought the guys he knew were better. I was only trying to answer your question.

Wasn’t the last guy fired for 9-4 and Bama losses?
Wasn’t the main point of hiring O because recruiting wouldn’t fall off and he’d be able to hit the ground running? No need for a rebuild?

Stop pretending we were bottom feeder in the sec before your lord and savior Ed O got hired.

Coach O is obviously working his tail off to give us a championship team. We need to let him do his job and wait to comment after the product is on the field and tested.

Well bless his precious heart. I'm sure he's working as hard with the mental faculties the good lord gave him.

And that was all of the meddling that was done all season. After the MS St loss and all of the penalties that were committed and having two true freshmen starting on the O-line? Cutting down on some of the motions would have been done by the majority of coaches.

I guess after the 37-7 loss to MS St you wanted everything to stay exactly the same.

Need a separate category for these threads. Pro or Con "O" this gets old.

Coaches should always tell teams that they have no chance of being successful and have nothing to play for. That is all on Eaux for that one.

Troy disagreed

They did. They were also a pretty good team.

What excuses have I made about next season? Playing over 30 freshmen last season can only help this season, it is not an excuse.

Orgeron has the best luck ever. All of his friends happen to be the best coaches available.

No thanks, I don’t have blind delusion. I can love LSU but still hate the head coach.

He was fired the day after the LSU team was celebrating victory on the field. It wasn't the first time it had happened. LSU was 4-5 in their last 9 games with blowout losses to Arkansas and Ole Miss.

LSU needed to rebuild the offensive and defensive lines and are well on their way to doing it.

Not pretending anything. LSU finished 3rd in the SEC West last season. One of the teams that finished ahead of them won the SEC West and beat both teams that played for the national championship. The other team that finished ahead of them won the national championship.

LSU beat one of those teams. Does that sound like a bottom feeder to you?

That's the only time it was admitted to the media. We don't know if it was the only time it occurred.

The lineman said after the Troy game that the motions were easy and didn't really affect them. If cutting down on motion had worked, they wouldn't have gone back to it in the 2nd half and the rest of the season.

No, I wanted them to improve on offense. Not change the offense.

I probably worded it badly by saying the "decisions" were lazy.

I was referring to the Canada/Ensminger saga, which definitely evidenced a lack of planning. You could even say that saga doesn't happen if Ed had planned what would happen if he didn't land Lane Kiffin.

I'm just saying the narrative of "Coach O is workin round the clock for a winner" isn't really borne out by results.

Still waiting for some positive remarks...

Ok. Dabo Swinney was 9-5 in his first year as head coach at Clemson, he was 6-7 in his second year as head coach. It wasn't until his third season that he won 10 games, and Clemson has not won less than 10 games since 2011.

So, it is still very much possible that I am wrong about Ed Orgeron the coach, and he could be tracking the same path as Dabo at Clemson, even if we have a losing record this season.

I don't know that I believe that, but it's positive, and it's the best I can do.

Forget it, it's not worth it! They're a lost cause and nothing can be said that will change their minds. They want Coach O to fail at all cost. I say the hell with them!

I'm backing this coaching staff and our players and this program at all cost. If Coach O fails then so be it a change will be made and we move on.

Could have been worse. LSU could have lost to unranked teams with losing records. Losing to teams with 11-2 and 10-3 records is not the worse thing to happen to a college football team.
did you just infer that losing to Troy was OK, or not that bad?

pulls O's cock out his mouth
