He's supposed to be recused and yet has been anything but. The FBI does not want to give him any intelligence because they know it will immediately give Trump, via Nunes, full access to a good bit of the SC's case.
I hate to play party cards here but why is it conflict of interests only holds true for Republicans?

You heard it here first. Hot Rod better cough those documents up or he is gone and it won't be Congress that does it.

FBI to be stonewalling while taking things by force from others.

Which is problematic for Honest Bob in that it will show Trump that he has no case.

Ah yes. The old nebulous catch-all that shields the FBI from any sort of accountability.

What is in the SCs case they want hidden from Trump? Prosecutors aren't usually in the practice of hiding their evidence. Though Mueller does seem to have a shady history.

The fact that they have no case. That’s what.

, should they refuse to hand over requested docs,
This should not even be possible. There should never be any "request" from an OVERSIGHT body. It should be done in 24 hours (else, have a DAMNED good reason for it and a time certain for it to be completed) or the person responsible should be considered to have turned in his resignation.
Furthermore...every OVERSIGHT committee should have the authority to simply send a person over to retrieve said info. Just walk into any office, pull the files / download docs, etc.
It is silliness that there can be a "refusal" to cooperate, etc.

I think it is a bad look for the FBI to be stonewalling here. What is there to hide? What could possibly be a reason for not letting the american people know the facts here?
Nunes wants the FBI to release unredacted copies of all the FISA applications. That's not going to happen.
I assume he is doing this because that is what he is being told to do, but it's hard to figure out what the strategy is. Trying to get rid of some dead wood at the top of the FBI/DOJ? Or maybe just a distraction ??? Or maybe Nunes just trying to stretch out his 15 minutes?

I'm conflicted on this. I don't know if this is a good move or not because if the OIG is moving forward with recommending indictments and the House gets that information not only does Nunes get that info but so does Schiff and Nadler. Then these recommended indictments are attacked by the Dems and the media.

This is too easily swatted aside by the NYT/CNN/WP/ABC/NBC as "partisan".

This is all well and good but after what we watched go down with the sham Hilldawg matter what makes anyone believe the documents that congress is requesting are still legit (unaltered) or for that matter even exist.
The Deep State has been working 24/7/365 trying to oust Trump while at the same time covering their corruption up by destroying any incriminating Swamp evidence.

Yeah it's pretty clear the deck is heavily stacked against Trump. Damn that decision by Sessions to recuse himself. Literally EVERYTHING bad has been a result of that fateful move.
