Can’t the pels get the 4 seed if they beat the spurs and the jazz lose out? If so this is flawed.

Won’t be shocked at all to see OKC loss at home to Grizz lol.

As a Hawks fan, I need to pull for Twolves to win, right? Their pick is protected and being 8th would be best possible outcome.

If the pels win and the Jazz lose out why wouldn't the pels get the 4?

Not a great visual. It's very unlikely that the Pels get the 7th seed. If they lose they get the 8th, if they win they will likely get 5th or 6th.

They would. This graphic is incorrect. It's more likely that the Pels get the 4th, than the 7th.
The Pels would host OKC, unless I'm missing something, which I may be.

From the creator:

He made a mistake. Someone pointed it out to him and he [acknowledged it](LINK OKC can still get 6th with a win. If Jazz win out, putting them at 49 wins, then they'll be the 3 seed and we'll be tied with Portland and SA/NOLA. Which would put us in 6th.

They'll win.

That still doesn't address Utah losing out, which would put them at 47 wins, Pels beating Spurs which would put them at 48 wins, and OKC beating Memphis which would put them at 48 wins.
In that scenario the Pels are 4th, OKC is 5th, and Utah is in a 3-way tie with the Spurs and the winner of Denver/Minnesota.

Well frick me. Thought it looked cool. Disregard this abomination of a visual.

These scenarios are too fricking wild to begin with

When does the first round start?

I usually like to root for certain teams at this time to win or lose as I'd be hoping for a particular playoff match-up.
But this year, I had no clue who to root for to get the match-up I think would be most favorable to the Rockets.

people who care about the seedings are stupid. they dont matter. if youre good enough to be the best in the world, it doesnt matter who you play.
if youre scared to play the jazz in the first round, what the frick are you gonna do when you have to play the warriors/rockets and lebron the next few rounds?

Pels ain’t winning a title without Boogie. Would be awesome to win a series though.

Depends on what you're watching/rooting for.
Take last year--I personally was hoping for a Spurs/Rockets series, so I paid a lot more attention to the seedings down the stretch, title chances of either notwithstanding.

yeah, rooting for teams to play another team you like/watch alot is different and i get it. but people who think their title chances are changing because of their first round matchup are out of their minds and need help
