The problem isn't with the federal government seizing arms, it's with state and local governments trying to do so. While I understand the sentiment behind it, doing something like this tells me those voting for it aren't really paying attention to where actual attempts at confiscation are happening.
It would have been far better to pass a law stating that no state agency nor agency of a municipality may confiscate legally obtained firearms from owners that have not broken a law.

Worked out perfectly for the South the last time around....within one hundred years the south was receiving BILLIONS of dollars from the Union more than we are sending them......imagine how much welfare folks in SC will receive in the form of military spending and highways when the union kicks their ignorant assess second time......
