Chick Fil A is the best run business in these United States. Purdue is the Church’s of Big Ten football programs

Chik Fil A have the highest grossing franchises of any other fast food places.

He will have to pay $5000 for the title of operator. Some CFAs pull in 300k per year. He made the right decision.

Smart move, definitely more stability doing this than being a football coach at a shitty program where you could get fired at any given moment. He will probably get to spend more time with his family as well. Dream on

Dude it's a special teams coach...
....at PURDUE.
That's like being an assistant hitting coach at Kentucky.
Opening a chicken fil-a is a perfectly good option for you.

Why couldn't that have happened at LSU last year?

As of a couple of seasons ago, Purdue football paid their staff less than we did.

Going to guess this thread didn't go the way OP expected

So he's going to make more money?

When you are a coach in college and some HS, you miss so much time with your family, its crazy. If people have any inkling of getting out, they should, I don't blame him one bit.

Great family. They live in my neighborhood and his kids go to school with and play sports with my kids. When he went from Western Kentucky to Purdue with Braum, his wife and kids didn't want to move there and moved back to the house they rented out in Sienna. Her and the kids wanted to be back here. They have 4 or 5 kids and his wife was having to run them all over while he was in Indiana coaching. So, I guess he decided to put his family before his career/coaching and got out of the business and figured out what he could do to be able to be home with his family and still have a good income. If you have the liquidity to purchase a franchise like that, I say it's a great business decision and even better decision for his family. Good for him. I know his wife and sons and have seen him around but never met him formally. By all accounts, he is a great guy, so it doesn't surprise me. Besides, I can't wait to have a chickfila outside Sienna.
