Have you ever avoided a place due to the owners business practices

Usually this shite doesn't bother me like with movies, however, when an owner makes it a point to post their beliefs all over it bothers me.
Most owners are aware and don't do this but has something like this ever made you avoid a place? Maybe even an interaction with the owner that was negative?

Nope. If their product is good, I usually don't give a shite.

I shop there partly because of their political leanings and that they take flack for not taking EBT

Nope. I couldn't care less about politics or religion as long as they give me a good product and service.

Are you talking about Blackened Brew?

that is part of what made me think of this. He has gone after TD posters on here and other posters in the various local beer groups. Although I've seen other groups where people avoided certain breweries based on owners, political beliefs, etc.

100%

I’m there for the product, if the product is good I don’t care if the owner is the biggest a-hole alive. Obviously, unless something they do directly affects me.

Yeah. If I personally have a reason, sure. But I don't care until then.

As Urine alluded to, a particular local Establishment went after the owner of another Establishment on FB. Essentially calling him names and almost challenging him to a fight. Not the first for this owner as he challenged people on TD to a fight for negative reviews when he opened.

I’ve avoided some super Baptist places, but only because they didn’t have booze. Beyond that I couldn’t give a frick.

If there are comparable substitutes, yes. On both sides. If you think you need to post political shite on Facebook (left or right), then you're a clown and I don't want to do business with you if I don't have to.

This one douche bar owner threatened one of my friends so I stopped going to that bar, but that’s the only experience I’ve had like that.

Sounds like a douche owner. I don't care what political leanings you have that's just ignorant.
