Should we sign Vaccaro to 1 year deal?

I know he wants a big deal, but the safety market is so soft... I know we got Coleman, but would you be against a 1 year deal for 5.5 mil, likely only count 2-3 mil against cap... and dB backfield is loaded

Please explain how a 1 year 5 mill deal will only count 2-3 mill against the cap??? What other years will the other portion count agianst??

I just never found him to be a difference maker. If they need another player at that position, sure. But I think it’s time to move on from this guy.

I wouldn't mind having him back, but honestly after signing PRob and a cheaper deal than Vaccaro would have gotten I think we are looking okay.
If we don't draft a corner (because Vaccaro has mostly played nickel anyway) and he is still dangling out there I wouldn't mind bringing him in on a real cheap one year deal for about $2 mil if he isn't opposed to it.
He'd be good depth for the nickel spot and if we lose a LB or two and play more nickel than normal.

Bring him in, have him compete with the other 3 safeties. If he is cheap, I see no downside of having 4 proven NFL Starters competing for the job.

I agree with all of that but I am shocked he hasn't signed with a team yet, let alone even make a visit. I've heard absolutely zero news about him in free agency.

I'm okay with not, it's obvious that football isn't that important to him.
