Nah. But they’ll probably give Oklahoma and UCLA a home regional.

It works a little different for gymnastics the host sites are predetermined
LSU will host really soon though

A positive is we just competed there a couple weeks ago in that same arena

Imagine that, Alabama is competing in Alabama.

Judging rankings, looks like we got the best regional. Highest competition is ranked 11.

It is already announced that LSU will host a regional next year in the PMAC

Great point. Lets not forget if they make it to the finals it will be their third trip to St Louis and second time on the hosting floor. Could be a factor, every little thing counts.

Alabama has the most difficult regional by far and will be on upset alert of everyone
Michigan and Georgia, if they hit can both score in the low to mid 197's.
Alabama can easily fall flat on their faces this regional if they don't come ready
Michigan has scored a lot of 197's this season and has some freshman studs
Georgia is a bit hit or miss, the depth isn't there but with hit routines can be a major problem. There are a few former elites that can put up some major scores.
I am really interested to see this regional

The top 2 seeds in each regional adds up to 13, and the 2 seed and 3rd seed add up to 25. #1 seed is matched up with #12 seed, giving them the weakest competition in the 2nd slot, but is also matched up with the #13, giving them the strongest competition in the 3rd slot.

Is this still confirmed? They have 6 Regional hosts next year but the format changed and there will only be 4 Regional sites now. So 2 sites are going to have to be dropped. I really hope LSU gets to keep the Regional site but if they are dropped (or whomever is dropped) should be allowed to host the next time they announce sites.

I was told the NCAA told LSU that they would still be on of the hosts unless it starts to become political and they make a last minute adjustment.
Zero reason LSU shouldn't be a host. The resources LSU provides. Sold out crowd and has a history of well run events.

What in the world does "unless it starts to get political" mean? I guess they don't want to look like they are favoring the top schools? LSU can host for multiple days and should get rewarded for being a school that brings in 12000+ on average. Only one other team in the entire country can beat that and they have a bigger arena!

Gymnastics scoring is always for the favorite. This is great for us until nationals. The only way we are going to win is for OU to fall. Baring that it will be chalk.

Hopefully LSU advances to the Sexy Six.
