Without a doubt, Ed should have been somewhere like a Houston type program or a lesser teir P5 program like Ole Miss, oh wait...

That’s basically the point i was making. On a macro level the offense under Miles was awful and a problem. But on a micro level (games and even a season) it was productive at times. Overall though a big fat F.

For Ensminger all we have since the 90s in micro, a few games where the offense was productive vs some crappy teams. Given the overall offense for damn near a decade under Les was awful, it felt like a breath of fresh air, but my contention is it was fools gold especially when you look at the Alabama and Florida games.

You have never curb-stomped me at anytime..... you are the one with and issue.... you will go to any length to try to keep Miles in everyone's thoughts.....and if anyone says anything negative about him you sprung into action to come to his rescue.....

“O is currently on the path Les was towards the end” I don’t even know how you can say that. No path that Miles took in 11 years at LSU lead us to a 30 pt L to state and the embarrassment of losing to SBC team. Trying to equate the two paths is just silly. It took Miles 11 yrs. of games to a OOC and Coach O 5 games. “ it’s better to get a little context” Thanks, I’ll try to remember.

2015, the year before Les was fired he finished the season losing to:
Bama 30-16
Arkansas 31-14
Ole Miss 38-17

The A&M win gave him a little breathing room to hold on longer. So yes, that 3 game stretch was really bad or maybe you forgot. And, again, I am not defending O. Like I said "towards the end".

RB wear down the front and hit play action more, hey that’s what coach O likes to do and ironically that’s exactly what Alabama thrives on stopping

like JJ never was a top 5 in the sec in qb rating

like only lsu gets its plays from the sideline

like a high yards per carry number is easier to achieve with more carries

like bowl games dont matter

bowl games do matter if its miles

we should be hapoy with 4 loss season because Vandy and Kentucky would like the record

these are all things that i stomped your drunk face in on. thats just off the top of my head. youre widely regarded as the 2nd dumbest poster on this site.
i wont even get into the glaring issue of you having the reading comprehension skills of a toenail.

i rarely bring miles into the discussion.

what kind of shite lsu fan has a problem with positive facts about lsu and its coaches? you need help pussy. you arent a lsu. youre an O fan. im sorry your football ignorant opinions get shite on with facts. deal with it.

ive curbed stomped you so much that ive made your entire TD experience into responding to my posts. its literally 99% of your posting.

so not a single 30 point loss and no losses to a sunbelt team?

even in miles worst years we didnr lose to mid majors and we never lost to a perennial sec doormat by 30

I’m a “negative jerk” because I’m skeptical that a 60 year old who held a job and was bad at it 20 years ago will magically be awesome at said job this go around. These are the rules

Orgeron chose Ensminger to successfully install and run a "USC style" type of offense. Orgeron tried to run this exact same offense at Ole Miss and he missed his mark badly.

Our OC that was unsuccessful the last time he ran an offense over 2 decades ago will be running an offense that Orgeron already failed trying to run at Ole Miss.

The concern with the offense is real and all rational LSU fans realize it.

It is if you only run two different running plays and go routes on play action. There are a lot of different ways to run the ball and use play action off of it.

Well you missed my post earlier where I stated the Troy loss was obviously worse. You also missed the part where I said Les does not get enough credit for his early success.

For some reason this has turned into a fight of who was "worser" or an attempt to twist my comments into some perceived defense of O.

It's crazy because he admitted that he forced an offensive philosophy on his first OC at OM, yet he's doing the same thing over again. Learned from his mistakes my arse.

I don't know why he doesn't just run the offense himself.

Well you have to hand it to him. He's removed any potential scapegoats so either he succeeds and is hailed a hero or he crashes and burns and the pitch forks and torches come out.

I kind of wish it would be an all or none like this because dragging things out either way is frustrating, but likely we will get results somewhere in between and the debate will rage on between factions.

I don’t disagree with you there. Personally I like QB’s who can make throws and move the pocket when need be. Making those big LB’s move horizontally gives them trouble. Plus I’d like to see more up tempo also.

I couldn't agree more. Still amazes me that supposedly the Miles offenses practiced way more plays than they ran in games. No telling what they could've done if they had implemented some more throws over the middle of the field off playaction or ran more counters, misdirection and draw plays to keep the linebackers on their heels a bit.

We have lost to Bama over the past 7 years in a row. I consider that an institutional failure as opposed to the guy calling plays on any given Sat.
