Recently discovered there was a 20' x 100' strip of land between my house and my neighbors house that went up for auction and some a-hole bought it for 20k. He started clearing 2 large pine trees and several smaller trees this week.

Anyone know the laws on putting up a fence? How close to the property line can it be? How tall can it be?
What is the best material?
Know any good fence companies in BR?

What is the servitude for building on a lot there? I bet it isn't wide enough for anything to be constructed, wait and see what happens

Piss off OP and the other neighbor until one of them offers him 40k for it.

Going to be tight with a 16' wide when you put steps on the front and back. May have to omit the back steps

I know exactly where you are talking about. My brother and I looked into that piece and thought you or the neighbor would buy it and just add to your properties. Figured there's no way anyone would want to buy that small piece and do something with it other than jack up the price and offer to you or neighbor.

Build it 4 inches inside your property lines and you can build it as high as your pocket book is deep unless you have HOA or city rules to follow

I bought it, and I'm not an a-hole. My archery club needed a local area to practice and this will be it.

We had a guy in town get pissed at the council because they wouldn’t let him put a small modular home on a small tract like this. City ordinance says no homes allowed that are manufacture off premises.

He just finished up the touches on a middle finger to them. It’s a 12ft wide two story metal building. Literally looks like you cut a House in half. Pitched roof and all. It’s the ugliest thing Inhave ever seen.
