Man I love this game, so fun. I love the tweaks they did with no minimap and no towers but didn’t take away from the same old good old fun as frick far cry formula. I caught so many fat sturgeon today LOVE fishing.
The game is fun. Really like it but extremely tired of the outpost thing.

The soundtrack for this game is fantastic

Great game. But why do npc’s keep stealing my vehicles and running off. Screw you, you bunch of chickens.
Great game other than that.

Having a blast with it. Last night in co-op, I was driving and ran over a flame thrower peggy who was in the road. The impact caused his tank to explode which caused my car to explode killing my partern and I.

Call in Nick Rye and he will shoot him down quickly.

I enjoy shooting down the planes in the turret of my truck and watching them dive bomb directly for me and blow me up.
Ah.......good times.

I had no trouble. reduced throttle all the way and just spun in circles basically. he never hit me.
sitting at 48/52 missions completed in Holland Valley. Can't find the rest.
SPOILER
Getting a plane and shooting down the large Y E S is one of the hidden missions. I also found a drainage tunnel with a red balloon hanging outside of it

Just the concept is getting old. Especially coming off Origins.
It needs to be revised.

what you're asking for is an entirely new game.
this is far cry, this is what it is.

Far Cry is more than just outposts.
Towers are gone. That game mechanic revised. Why can't outpost?
Outposts don't make FarCry.
Edt: more I think about it, what a dumb statement. It is like saying top down is a Zelda game and 3rd person will never work.
Or Zelda must have dungeons. BotW surely was a Zelda game and felt like Zelda but no dungeons are found.

I have just about everything discovered in Holland valley and I can't find the last two outposts.

I’ve put 8-10 hours into it so far. It’s “Far Cry” so far, so if you like the others, you’ll like this one.
It’s similar to other far cry games in that there’s some small annoyances, but overall feels very similar to 4, just in a different locale. More fleshed out as an open world game than 4 was. Not sure about map size, but feels pretty expansive. The fishing/hunting thing gets old pretty fast.

Beautiful game, a lot of fun. I like the Far Cry format so no issues with outposts, etc. Love open world concept.
Pros:
- Gorgeous
- Creative premise
- Well-optimized performance-wise
- Fun gameplay
Gripes:
- Janky NPC's
- Spawning/despawning of enemies and allies seems buggy. Saw an armored convoy from my helicopter heading north, landed helicopter at the first intersection I could find to get out and line up a shot, the convoy was gone.
- Would appreciate more weapon variety. They seem to be going skin-heavy without much variance in the number of base models per weapon class you can acquire.
- Immersion can be pretty much ruined with any amount of time on a major road. They keep those roads too busy with fighting/enemies. Same kind of goes for animals in the wild. They didn't at all follow the "less is more" line of thought.
ETA: People who are saying its too political are getting their panties in a wad. Even if you believe its a jab at evangelicals, almost all of the "good guys" are combat veterans, cynical towards the federal government and even occasionally refer to globalist conspiracies in cartoonized fashion. A badass christian Pastor in Holland Valley is one of the leaders. But these characters are likable. So worst-case scenario it is poking fun without taking a clear stance against the red-blooded Americans its portraying.

I finished the game this weekend after some serious binge playing last week
I got the "good" ending...and...umm...you'll just have to see it for yourself. I did like how they left it vague as to what caused the ending. You'll see what I mean when you get there.
I've loved the Far Cry series since the first one, and I think I liked 5 the best.
Also, hunt and fish whenever you can. I quickly had more money than I ever possibly needed. Bought every weapon, fully upgraded them, bought the Prestige weapons, various vehicles, etc. And I still had over 100k. Side missions, prepper stashes, looting bad guys, and completing the outposts without detection also give you tons of cash.

Are they ever..
A clear step back from past ubisoft titles. They just do random shtt. I'm always chasing after NPCs which are on MY TEAM.

I'm just cycling through NPC trying to find one that auto loots herbs and auto loots bodies. they're annoying for the most part, and have set of alarms at multiple outposts.

I want to just purchase a skin quickly with real money.
Can't buy Silver Bars for whatever reason on PC. IDK the issue.

How in the world do you do this? I've sniped a guy alone on a roof 200m away with a suppressed sniper rifle and still get detected. To me the suppressors are useless.
