How does one become a TV/Radio shyster attorney?

I’m talking about people Morris Bart or Jim Adler? Does one go to law school wanting to do something like this or do they try to be a straight laced legit attorney and not make it? Not saying these type of attorneys are trash but they do take advantage of the ignorant and less fortunate.

$$$ and a lack of shame
The big time TV / billboard guys are making white shoe New York firm money with a huge advertising budget and a bunch of young associates doing the leg work

I assume if you retain the sources of the Morris Bart law firm, Morris Bart is not personally representing you. Well maybe if you are rich and or famous he might but at that point you’d get a better attorney.

I prefer Dudley DeBosier. They're the official injury lawyers of the LSU Fightin' Tigers.

Morris Bart probably hasn't seen the inside of a courtroom since the 1990s
The auto mills employ a shite ton of people, people who handle the medical bills and appointments, people whose only job is to negotiate with adjusters, investigators, associates to do all of the legal work. It runs itself after a while, especially with a Morris Bart or Gordon McKernan advertising budget.

I’ve also heard that staff at Gordon McKernan handles media and advertising for attorneys throughout the US, outside of his market.
I’d love to see the comparison of the money each type of business brings in.
Must be one of the easiest and most proven ways to become a millionaire.

They’ll also go get former insurance adjusters and hire them as paralegals and investigators.
Strangely enough, I’ve also seen a few insurance defense attorneys make the jump to the plaintiff mills, which again proves the old adage that money talks and bullshite walks

You gotta get an easily remembered phone number because most (all?) of your potential clientele are morans.
Like 444-4444 or 222-2222 or 777-7777

Go to law school to get the respect of your older brother who is a partner in a law firm in New Mexico.
Try to do the right thing but your brother hates you and will sabotage this every step of the way leading you to become a shady attorney for criminals and drug dealers and to eventually go into hiding while working as a manager at CinnaBon.

Whoever created and signed off on Chip Forstall's TV ads is an absolute genius.

1. Go to law school
2. Pass the bar.
3. Lose all integrity and have no shame.
4. Sell your soul
5. Profit.

I know a guy who passed the bar and now "works" for Alexander Shunnarah. He's an independent contractor. If you call Shunnarah, he will only see you if you're a huge case. Otherwise, you get referred to one of his contractors. He (the guy I know) only takes cases if he wants them, and gets to keep 30% of the legal fees. The rest goes to Shunnarah.

Here you go:
Attorney vows to keep fighting Louisiana's high jury trial threshold
BATON ROUGE — Legal experts aren't giving up on their effort to change Louisiana's jury trial laws, which they say are to blame for the state's sky-high automobile insurance rates.
Jim Harris of Harris, DeVille & Associates Inc., said Louisiana drivers can blame the state's litigious climate and high jury trial threshold of $50,000 for the out-of-control automobile insurance rates.
“The National Association of Insurance Commissioners have stated publicly that two of the main reasons for high automobile insurance rates are the loose nature of Louisiana laws and the litigious nature of our citizenry,” Harris said. “The large number of plaintiff attorney billboards and television commercials telling everyone to sue for every fender bender certainly doesn’t help either.”
Harris added that Louisiana is one of only two states in the country with no constitutional right to a jury in a civil trial and it has the highest threshold for a civil jury trial at $50,000.

Also, these motherfrickers are a big reason insurance rates are so high.
They make it so damn easy to sue over anything trivial. My good buddy does insurance underwriting for some fast food chains and says these shameless attorneys sue them daily over people "slipping", burning themselves on hot food, etc.
So these restaurants have to pay outrageous insurance rates to cover their arse, which then gets passed down to consumers.
Its a fricking drain on society.
