The new engine for the 777x looks amazingly and comically huge

My pilots were talking about this at racquetball last week. Fascinating.

Gotta have power to cross the water, McFly.

Bro, that 777 has been hogging the preacher curl rack at my gym for months. Great gainz.

I’ve seen bigger engines in the quad

It might be the same diameter as the current GE-90-115b, which has a 128" fan.

I used to fuel Jets at MSY, that would have been really cool to see up close.
Not that there would be many opportunities to see if though.

You let your pilots hang out with you? That’s gross.

777? I think that's a 747. 777 has two engines vs 747's four. A more interesting observation would be, "I hope GE's aviation division isn't suffering like GE the company."

That's the test bed. Certainly not a 777

No shite. Maybe it doesn't look so "amazingly and comically huge" on the plane it's designed to be on which has half the number of engines as the plane depicted.

It's a testing platform with one 777 engine
