They allow whites to compete, but whites can’t be card carrying members of the association.
Been many occasions where a white won an event but wasn’t paid prize money since he didn’t have a membership card

I've heard it may have been higher, like a third. Got a "redneck" black friend from Alabama who loves Western culture and he's done quite a bit of digging on this subject.
