I can't recall having a good frozen one either but I find Papa Murphy's comes out pretty good

Freschetta is my favorite. Digorno's crust is not edible. Tombstone, Tonys and red Barron were good in the 90's, but they went generic

Screamin Sicilians are about the best I have had in the frozen pizza arena

Papa Murphy's
My ex and I used to pick up the large stuffed crust from there on Tuesdays for 9.99. With this stuffed crust, it was hard to eat more than 2 slices. For just myself, I could get like 4 meals off of it. It was a great deal.

but as mentioned, Bessie's Revenge, Mambo Italiano, and the Boss Hog if you can find that one, are all money

I can't think of a location they have left in BR. They moved in quickly and then all closed

I'm talking about the pizzas they make in house that you take home to cook.

I also just realized that I don't think they are frozen. They are just prepared up to the point where you put them in the oven. My bad
You will never be able to duplicate the real thing without a proper pizza oven. Pizza has to be cooked rapidly at a very high temperature to have the crust and cheese to achieve the proper texture and taste. Pizza ovens cook a pizza at 650-1000 degrees, your home oven will not cut it, that is why the cook it yourself stuff like Papa Murphy's taste like crap.

If you are patient and add personal toppings diginoro?? tastes good if you cook at a low temp over a longer period of time.
I usually do 250-275 and eyeball it
Comes out pretty well but takes much longer.

Jacks bacon cheeseburger pizza used to be goat. They messed with the crust though and seems flaky. Not a fan anymore.
Jack's was my go-to growing up, but I agree, the crust is weak now. I think they cut back on the cheese, too.
It's still ok though. I added more cheese to a Mexican Style one a few months ago and I liked it.

I was amazed the other day though when I saw Jacks thin crust for $5 and DiGorno for $8.
shite, you used to be able to get Jack's on special, 4 for $10.

I’ve burned the shite out of my mouth on so many totinos pizzas in my drunken youth that one side of my mouth sags like a stroke survivor.
Nowadays it is Screamin Sicilian.

That's BS. I cook great pizza on a baking steel in my oven.

If you ain’t about Freschetta you ain’t about shite

I know man.
I know the OP was about decent tasting pizza, but wife has been buying thin crust from Aldi's. Reminds me how Jack's crust used to be. A bit thicker and crispier.

Freeze properly and reheat properly and you can't tell a difference.
So you’re telling me fresh fish I catch is just as good If I freeze it and cook it 6 months later?
(As long as I do it right)
Wrong!

I can get my egg that hot (and you are correct).

I used to sell DiGiorno, Jacks, Tombstone and California Pizza Kitchen. The CPKs were my favorite ones. The DiGiorno pizzeria one is also pretty good. Tombstone and Jacks are usually for kids.
