From Underhill...
Senio Kelemete’s three-year deal with the Texans came with a $2.25 million signing bonus, $5 million guaranteed. Worth up to $12 million.
Base salaries of $1.25, $2.75 and $2.75 million. A $1.5 million roster bonus in 2018, up to $500,000 in per game roster bonuses each year.
I’d have to imagine we matched or even offered more, Guess opportunity to start was difference

Think he wanted to go somewhere and start.

I would have given him a staring job at that cheap of a salary.
Trade Armstead. Though he is more talented he just can't stay healthy.

He's setting himself up for his next contract. He'd still be behind Peat and Warford 3 years from now.

No, you move Unger who's been ok but not great and play senio at center

He means trade. And Unger has been good. Rarely gives up pressure and he's a big part of why the run game is clicking. Definitely should not trade.

You haven't been paying attention if you think Unger has just been okay.

Any true athlete on any level wants to play.. not backup, I wish we could’ve kept him, but don’t blame him

you seem like the kind of person that keeps a hand written note in your pocket that says breathe, so you wont forget what to do.

This. Good teams would love to have him, but he said he wanted to start.
I will say, although he was extremely versatile, he was a very poor run blocker. The difference was substantial when he came in compared to the original 5.
