No. I went and looked do you know where Tiger is on driving average thus year? 42nd
Tigers distance is back at the top now. That will not be an issue

He is already the best club tosser and F bomber of all time.

Julius Boros and Old Tom Morris are the only golfers in history to win more than one major at Tiger’s age or older. They each won 2.
Neither of them; however, were Tiger Woods.
He’s got a puncher’s chance, but he’d, starting today, have to have another career in the majors equal to the T13 best carreer all time (5 wins) to beat Nicklaus’ mark.

Agree, a puncher's chance.
Which to me means about a 1 in 10 chance.

Other pros do too you know.
15 years ago Tiger played a different game than the rest if the field. A bunch of them can hit it a mile now today, and they did everything else well too

But I am saying he is still right at the top with the big dogs

I'm even with 1 to play on a par 5. Guy in the group behind me I know can get home in 2, so I'm forced to be more aggressive to try and at least make birdie.

The Masters will tell us a lot but just with his age and only four majors a year it will be almost insurmountable. I would really like to see him in contention on Sunday at the Masters.

I'm like everyone else, less than 1%
But I will add that Jack won a major at 46 and Watson should have at 59, so Tiger could conceivably have 68 opportunities to win
One win every 4 years would tie, and watching yesterday, along w his prowess at Augusta and the Old Course, does make me wonder what if

Today's new wave of really good players all hit it as far or further than Tiger when he's on.
I wouldn't go that far. Tiger's club head speed this past weekend was the fastest clocked on tour this year. Tiger can still hit it out there every bit as far as the logn hitters on tour. There might be a couple that can hit it further, but there were in the early 2000s too. What separated Tiger and made him so dominant wasn't so much how far he could hit it but the shots he could create, his putting, and his short game.

Now if Tiger had Phil's short game he'd have a chance.
Tiger's short game in his prime was every bit as good or better than Phil's. And Tiger's short game the last two weeks has been fantastic.

Tiger was seldom in the Top 10 in driving distance on tour, even 15 years ago.
Hell, he was player of the year in 2013 and was barely inside the Top 50 in driving distance.

Did he hit it 400 yards? No. I went and looked do you know where Tiger is on driving average thus year? 42nd
That 129 is not far above Dustin Johnson's average for last year. And he's not the highest average speed of guys on tour. He's 13th in driving distance. Dustin has a better short game too.
Tiger's club head speed average with the driver is 2nd on the PGA tour right now

Dustin Johnson averaged 121.17 last year

Anything else you'd like to add?

I would maybe go a hair higher to maybe 2% because Tiger will put the work in once he nails down a good swing and hopefully one that keeps his back from acting up. However, as someone already posted, his fear factor being on the leaderboard with other players is over. I know there was some talent back in his prime but it seemed like when Tiger got near the top back in the day, other golfers seemed to fall apart.
I think he will win another Masters for sure and probably another PGA/British but I doubt he ever catches Jack.

His distance off the tee is MORE than fine. I mean MORE than fine. He is outdriving everyone in the field on holes that fit his eye where he can take a rip. His driver will only continue to get more accurate.
Tiger is good with irons as well, my friend.

Let’s see how he does at Augusta where he has to be long and accurate with a driver.
You do not have to be that accurate with your driving at Augusta.

Have you ever watched the MASTERS?????
Driving IN THE FAIRWAY is essential for 4 days straight to win at Augusta..... Your putting van be great but if you are scrambling because you missed the fairway is NO WAY to win there............

Peej, tiger is back, and he's going to win at Augusta.
