Let’s discuss social media

I’d like to take a few minutes to laugh at a few select groups of people who post on social media
1. The ‘I can’t ever get into a healthy relationship, so I post scantily clad pictures of myself in sexy gym clothes, with some corny arse inspirational quote’ girl... we all know this broad... she’ll typically have a failed marriage or two... definitely a kid or more.... she was your typical social media hoe back in her day... she eventually shacked up with some oilfield baw, got knocked up (sometimes more than once), then divorced, and now she has found her niche in posting sexy gym selfies all the time..... here’s to you hoebag ... thanks for reminding me that I did the right thing by settling down with a chick who isn’t OK with selling her body on the internet
2. The MLM gurus....... bro. IDGAF about the products you’re selling. Actually, you never even try to sell me a product. All you ever try to do is recruit people to work under you, and the only thing you want them to do, is find more people to sell your mythical ‘product’ underneath you so YOU can reap the benefits... then these MLM assholes will tell you something like ‘this is nothing like a pyramid scheme, message me for details’. I can’t begin to tell you how many people I’m friends with who are still trying to do this shite. My best friend does this crap. He was working with a company that recently shutdown while still owing him something like $18,000.. the sad part: it didn’t even phase him. Now he’s working with some new company that will lead him down the same path
3. The perpetual whiner and complainer.. ma’am, IDGAF how long you had to wait in line at Starbucks, and I really DGAF that you are inconvenienced by traffic everyday. Often times these same people will be the ones to post stupid, simple, mundane questions on FBook: ‘YALL, where can I find the best snowball in town’ or ‘I’m looking for a good, cheap ________. Give it a rest bitch, it really isn’t that hard to find a decent electrician
4. The woe is me, I will never find a guy meme poster. This particular group will also post memes on how much they like pizza and cats, yet on the weekends their pics consist of wild nights at the local bars, wth their titties all over the place, followed by Monday and Tuesday posts of ‘OMG I can never find a good guy’
Yea yea yea, I know, I can just delete it.. but where’s the fun in that? Bikini season is coming up, and if you think I’m gonna miss out on all these skanks on the beach, you’re trippin
I know there’s more... so let’s hear them. What irritates you about social media? I look forward to the serious responses after the first 5-6 posts of lame insults

I didnt read any of that, but if I let Social Media bother me enough to write all that shite I would not be on it.

I don't use it for this very reason. I could give a frick less about other people.

1. People who come to TD to talk about people on social media

The #1’s I know aren’t typically sexy. So they just post a lot of shoulders-up selfies with Snapchat filters that make them look a lot better than reality.

The lost belief that you don't discuss politics or religion with friends and family.
Unbelievable how often people feel the need to force feed their politics or religious bullshite into all of their friends' Facebook feed and then get bent out of shape when someone dares respond in a way that is not in 100% agreement with whatever bullshite they posted.
This goes in all directions and is not, in ANY WAY, limited to one political viewpoint, party, religious affiliation, etc.

1. People who complain about their health problems (headaches, insomnia, whatever). Nobody GAF.
2. Politics, either side, doesn't matter, all sucks.
3. Vaguebooking
4. Humblebrags
5. Pictures of food
6. Pictures of ugly
7. Social media chain mail
8. Gratuitous and self serving religiosity
9. Facebook
10. Actually, all social media pretty much sucks now that I think about it.

Let’s diccuss social media
I stay off of it for the most part. Stopped my instagram and snap chat habit. I only check it if someone sends me something now.
Facebook is boring, my feed is crap. Only get on every now. Maybe a couple times a week.
Twitter is used strictly for entertainment now. I just follow some funny accounts for some laughs. I don't post of follow too many people I know.

Facebook sucks. Water is wet. The sun is hot.

I'm frustrated by people that don't proofread their topic titles before they start a new topic.

Did you just wake up after a long night of binge drinking and reading facebook?

You sound like that middle aged dad that's trying to reconnect with his younger self so he can act cool around his teenage son.

One of better parts about sites like Facebook is that people are somewhat civil. Sites like TD and others can be much more vicious due to the (sort of) anonymity. I think the comments sections of news sites are one of the contributing factors of mass shootings. People are jerks to each other and it's more the norm than the exception.
