I’m thinking he is going to start Hilliard. Just a hunch.

PM was clear tonight that Peterson would not start Sunday.

Can't wait to see AJ Labas & eventually Stortz pitch. Hope he lets Stortz hit as well, he won the PG HR derby this past season.

I don't know but I was pleased with most of the guys that pitched tonight.

They threw strikes.

I’d throw Gilbert Sunday and stick someone else on Saturday. Throw them out there and let them sink or swim

I like Hilliard a lot. Gotta be either him, Bush, or Beck

I think that is who PM wants too, but he has got to prove that he can consistently throw strikes. Tuesday was a big improvement, but it was Grambling and he still had a couple issues with control.

He has the best stuff outside of Hess, and Gilbert but needs to walk less batters

Better to throw him in the fire against Southeastern. Still would have another weekend of non conference to tweak the rotation if need be.

I’m hesitant to want Bain or Hillard in that spot, they both are getting comfortable in relief.

Beck could very well be an option and may be the safer pick.

Like we keep mentioning over and over to get back Labas and Storz changes the entire way Mainieri can set up the rotation.

His arm is fresh and 4 days of rest is enough...not ideal to be done weekly but enough.

I'm guessing this for the weekend. Hilliard or Sanders will most likely get the start, though. They will go on Sunday for the extra day of rest. Gotta build these arms up for the season.

Peterson has quietly pitched pretty well, like so many others on this team, when he can get it over the plate.
Id guess labas or sanders for sunday

agree. I just hope PM has a quicker hook when the SEC starts. our staff is very inconsistent.

Peterson has pitched very well. I’m anxious to see more of him.
