LakeviewLSU(real men never cry!!!!)'s god crying and being stretchered off the pitch for a fricking sprain that may not even take him out of his next match.

Also, Neymar's a dick.

Faking it, because Neymar duh, and also so they can sit him against Real since they know they are going to lose anyway. Now they have an excuse so they don't look so stupid for spending 200m on a player that can't get them out of the R16. Club and player are a perfect match.

Have you ever sprained an ankle? I had a terrible sprain and got hairline fracture in my foot during a game several years back. It hurt like a bitch but I also sucked it up and played the rest of the game. I didn't roll around on the ground like a baby crying my head off.

And it wasn't some minor sprain. I shouldn't have kept playing on it as I may have made it worse. I couldn't play for a few months after that and needed physical therapy to get my ankle back to 100%.

Of course. I've also sprained ligaments in my knee. At that point in the thread, no one had said what he sprained. However, I've never been on the verge of playing in the World Cup in 4 months and wondering if I just fricked up my chances by spraining/tearing/etc. something in my ankle/knee.

The OP literally says that it looks like it is a "sprain." Did you miss that part?

Also, if you watch the video, it definitely looks like he just stepped funny and rolled his ankle.

The OP literally did not say what he sprained. It also can be kind of tough to be sure about the diagnosis while you're still lying on the field.

With ankle injuries it's basically impossible to make a diagnosis on the field, without imaging, etc.

Wow. I'm sure he meant that he sprained his elbow. Finish this sentence for me with most likely word:

"While playing soccer yesterday, I sprained my _____."

The sprained MCL that I got playing soccer had me out for about a month and a half. Happened when I kicked the ball at the same time as another player. Pretty sure I sprained another knee ligament in high school when a guy ran into the inside of my knee during my follow through. Just went undiagnosed. Came back in 2 weeks that time.
