That's technically bribing a state employee and could he wire fraud all happening across state lines

It's also defrauding a state institution because these coaches and agents know that they are doing things to make athletes ineligible and lead to sanctions against the school. The crimes they are committing are pretty serious, but it's about basketball so it does become a little funny.

why are you still awake old man? you need to be up early to cash your social security check while systemically ruining every other financial resource in this country

It's essentially what this whole charade is about no doubt but this bull's been occurring for like 70-80 years and NOW the feds are deciding to investigate it? Another argument against reliance on the government, LIBERTARIANS FTW

Louis Blazer gave the Feds the case, they weren’t looking for it. US Attorney for the Southern District is making a name for himself.

No clue who this US Attorney even is so apparently he isn't doing that great a job of "making a name for himself"

Damn the SDNY guys are always in the news. Preet Bharara was always in high profile cases.

But shouldn’t this be in the Pittsburgh jurisdiction?

Libertarian is actually a French word that roughly translates to: another Reddit neckbeard kid that thinks they've figured it all out
