I love times like this when we get to see progressives so clearly disregarding certain aspects of reality because to do otherwise would shatter their worldview.

According to the article it is only one UN official who makes this claim. And he does not provide any statistical data, he simply claims it biased on his feelings from spending a few days there.

Alabama is far from a conservative paradise. We take more of the federal government’s money for programs like Medicaid than any other state in the country. A conservative paradise would be a state like Utah or Wyoming.
