House Speaker Paul Ryan slammed after he snubbed Florida teacher on gun control

That's the jack-assian headline from Newsweek regarding the exchange between Ryan and some liberal activist who blind-sided him at the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne.
Here's the exchange:
So the teacher accuses Ryan of being in Florida to "celebrate the deaths of 17 children."
Ryan politely tells her he doesn't want to get into a political debate with her, rather than telling her to go frick herself, which is what she deserved IMO.
And so now he is being "slammed"?
More hateful, anti-American garbage from the MSM.

The teacher, Maria Thorne, and another protester were escorted out of the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne by security Friday, according to The Miami Herald. In recalling her exchange with Ryan, Thorne said she introduced herself as a teacher to the House Speaker, who responded, "Nice."
"Nice?" she questioned. "You’re here celebrating the death of 17 children." After Ryan said he didn't want to discuss the issue, Thorne and a friend chanted "No more guns" and were ejected from the event.
Thorne, the teacher and activist, told the Herald that she attended the National Republican Congressional Committee fundraiser after she had struggled to reassure her own students at Miami's iPrep Academy that she could protect them from shooters such as Nikolas Cruz, who, cops say, murdered 17 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School earlier in the week in nearby Broward County.

All these so called "activists" need to rounded up and deported. They're all scum. How can anyone ask something like that?

She’s so brave. So courageous.

why are you acting as if this is about Ryan and 1 other person?

"As Speaker Ryan has expressed in recent days, the shooting in Parkland is horrific and senseless," a spokesperson for Ryan told the Sentinel. "He is praying for the entire community during this period of unimaginable pain and sorrow."
Does his spokesperson not realize how tone deaf these statements are? People are sick and tired of all these "our hearts and prayers are with you" bs. Especially, when they don't even ATTEMPT to do anything about it.

Terror issues....nope, can't touch immigration.
Trade issues....nope, can't touch trade deals

Throw their arse in the Camps.

How should he attempt to limit the clear language of the Constitution?

Further, how can you defend against Pence's camps programs if you have no guns?

she had struggled to reassure her own students at Miami's iPrep Academy that she could protect them from shooters such as Nikolas Cruz,

About iPrep Academy
iPrep Academy is a non-attendance boundary International Education and Global Focus Magnet School that incorporates innovative teaching strategies in a technology-rich environment. It is the first school of its kind, breaking with the traditional format and exploring new ways to engage students in order to achieve a unique balance of educational excellence and uninhibited learning.

Why didn't liberals do something about gun control when they had majorities in the House and Senate and a Dem president in the White House if the matter is so important?

Reading Yahoo's frontpage paints a much different narrative than half the country feels. They don't even understand that they are undermining their messaging.
