No I'm not, Dale.

The comparison is the odds of being shot by a mass murderer at a school and a muslim terrorist. There's nothing confusing about that. Perhaps your gotcha popcorn question messed you up, since it has no relation to the comparison.

Yes you did. You were going the gun route until you figured out I was talking about the actual shooter.

But whatever, as I said already, if something really is to be done, it will violate some rights. Or, spend tons of money and throw more guns at things. That seems to work really well for us.

Or...do nothing

Both should be illegal. Problem solved. Again.

No, I didn't.

You're confused. Again.

Read what you responded to, and your response. Do you need someone to explain that to you?

Feel free to offer up some ideas.

Could make terroristic threats a one-way ticket to the no buy list.

If having a medical marijuana card is a bar to gun ownership, then publicly threatening to shoot up a school should be.

I think it's a pretty significant situation every time these kids are getting killed at school, would you say the same if it was your niece or nephew or your children

I got robbed once while in Japan. So everyone should listen to me, as I am an expert on Japanese foreign relations.

See how dumb that sounds?

being emotionally close to the situation, actually makes you a LESS credible voice with regards to policy.

I prefer to entertain policy conversations with people who study the issues involved.

Very few can go the distance with you. I never cease to be amazed how long you can go on

I am more worried about someone taking a vehicle and using it while a fire drill is being performed. That would kill more than 17.

These are terrifying events for sure, but to say they are picking the most devastating weapon they could use is not correct.

The real issue is why we have so many messed up young people. You can start there.

Gun control will not eliminate the problem but it will reduce it in my opinion. Reduce the "cowboy culture" of certain people.

Sometimes it's worth wasting my time to make sure everyone else wastes theirs, too. It's usually a net gain.

Evidently filling kids with psychotropic drugs, exposing them to violence in media, telling them they always have a right to be heard and respected seems like it may not have worked so well?
