Not the Lego movie attitude. Just be a normal person. dont get in trouble. If you do get in trouble your score hurts you for a few years.

It does have the potential to, and I don’t mean to write that off as inconsequential in the midst of my warnings. But it also has the potential to be catastrophically manipulated. It is one of the very very few things that could legitimately lead to a modern world equivelent of the nazi party if the wrong person were to gain control of it. Some form of effective social oversight and feedback would be absolutely essential, and maybe we could develop something close to a suitable oversight system in the US. I very much doubt that there will be any public controls in the chinese version though.

That said, even in the US, I’m of the opinion that the benefits are far and away outweighed by the risks. Besides, it shouldn’t be the role of the federal government to social engineer. Precisely because social engineering on an aggregate scale is so risky. And this is a pure social engineering scheme.

In China’s case, they’ve currently hired 5 different firms to do sample scores before determing the final criteria based on these findings. Only one I had heard of was Alibaba

But again, that’s not nearly the whole story. It also means make sure your friends don’t get in trouble. Or make sure your friends don’t say anything that anyone could perceive as trouble. Or don’t be their friends anymore.

Are you fricking kidding? This is a terrible idea and I hope your joking or just haven't thought this through all the way. It's the definition of big brother.

I read where you thought it could be used for rewards, but as innocent as something like this seems at the beginning it can turn very quick. I don't even want that can of worms opened. Sorry if I came off too harsh but things like this scare the shite out of me.

I have a better idea. What about getting back to where we were in the 70s and 80s when society had a few morals with limits.

We can't pray before a game anymore because that's damaging to a student, but we can teach them to explore their sexuality with whatever flavor and make a decision on have a sex change.

Social score is a horrendous idea. There is absolutely no way it will not be abused. Anyone that questions any official government story about any incident will be evaluated negatively. Even searching for truth online will result in a lower score. When a Democrat is in office, the score of every Republican will go down, and vice versa. Our Founding Fathers would be rolling over in their grave if this ever happened it America. It is essentially the death of freedom of speech and thought. I never have and never will harm another soul. Why should people like me be refused access to certain necessities/luxuries simply because I'm not a mindless drone that unquestionably believes everything I'm fed? This does not represent a free country.
