If you're keeping up on gameday, they don't do pitch by pitch. A walk shows up as 4 pitches and a strikeout shows up as 3 pitches. I've fallen for that mistake in the past

Obviously want him healthy and in the lineup, but Marwin does a great job, and Yuli gets an extra 5 days to recover.

Stassi is on pace to be last roster spot, so if Yuli ends up on DL, I'm guessing it will happen after his suspension, so they can get it out of the way

Yes very concerned. If it's a ligament or Hamate bone it's half a season.

Hamate bone

This would not be good for him at all at his age.

The Rangers have signed Tim Lincecum to a major league deal. Between him, Doug Fister and Bartolo Colon..they might be the team to beat in the West.

I read his velo had picked up a few ticks but o can’t get the image of us absolutely destroying him in Minute Maid and him looking like he was going to break out into tears on the mound

Gonna be difficult for them to win the Cy Young, taking each other's vote

Of equal intrigue to just how the two-time Cy Young winner will look is how the Rangers will use him. The 33-year-old has functioned almost exclusively as a starter throughout his career. But the Rangers’ strategy this winter has been to add flexible hurlers that can contribute multiple innings in any role. There are also some suggestions that Texas could consider utilizing Lincecum in a late-inning capacity, though perhaps the overall impression at this point is that the organization intends to mix and match as circumstances dictate rather than committing to traditional roles.

Looks like someone is taking ideas out of the book Jeff Luhnow: How to Build a Championship Team in Texas Forward by AJ Hinch

his upward trajectory isn't sustainable. He's bound to face some diversity

I hear they are eyeing Troy Glaus to add another veteran bat to the lineup.

Fangraphs did a ranking of teams based on players age 25 and under. Obviously I’m posting because Houston is ranked #1, but I also found it very interesting how badly ranked the rest of our division is
