If all that a crusty Oklahoma writer can come up with is the agricultural smell of growing hemp, that isn't so negative. Have you ever smelled a hog farm or a fruit orchard?

I think phrases like "the state is now the #1 offender of marijuana users" is pretty ironic considering that it's now legal there.
No different than those that argue it decreased the crime rates since legalization.

I used to love going into Denver when visiting my father in law. Now, we never go in to the city because it has changed so much.
Was it the plummeting unemployment rate, rapidly improving school system, or billions of outside capital coming into downtown that have turned you away from Denver?
Maybe it is just the large population growth among young, employed people looking for a great city to start their families in.

I can only imagine how Louisiana would frick it up if even Colorado hasn't figured out how to actually apply that to fixing roads or real education needs.
If you spent only a few minutes looking into the disposition of CO's marijuana tax revenue and how it is dispersed, you would quickly see how incorrect your statement is.

it is saying the pot makes Denver a destination for the homeless to move to so they can buy weed.
Which doesn't make sense, as Nevada, California, and Oregon have higher rates of homelessness, despite it still being recently legal in Nevada, recently legal in California, and legal since 2014 in Oregon. I won't deny that homeless might migrate to Denver because metropolitan areas might have more services available to the homeless, but suggesting marijuana as solely a cause for that homelessness is an odd suggestion.

Literally the worst thing that people can say about marijuana legalization is that they can somehow smell the plant sometimes on the interstate even though it is not burning/smoking and that homeless people have migrated there?
Problem A isn't a problem, its reaching.
Problem B would disappear if everyone legalized if what the author suggesting is the true cause of the migration. (which its not)

Weed effects everyone differently, but for me personally, if I smoke half a bowl out of my bong, it’s just as bad as if I was driving while drunk.

Imagine what sort of utopian society they could have if they outlawed both pot and alcohol. Tack on removing all guns (and likewise violence) and you have the perfect society.

If you still question why weed still isn't legal, just read this thread. There's a ton of misinformation and fear mongering going on here.

I’m sure the whores will be moving in soon.

It stays in your system for weeks. I would expect the number to be higher, that doesn’t mean that they were high when they wrecked. It just means they’ve used in the last couple weeks. Since it’s legalized of course that number goes up.
Still doesn't discount that drug users have proven themselves to be more of a risk to insure.

For sure.
Its intellectually dishonest.
A majority of the reason is probably why so many homeless people flocked to the Pacific Northwest pre-legalization. The culture is far more inviting for homeless people. They take care of them more.

They were probably Holmes's before the moved to Co
Homeless that wanted easy access to weed? Makes sense to me. Struggling person in Kansas moves to Colorado....

My friend is a pediatrician in Colorado and he can always tell which mothers smoked marijuana when pregnant because their kids have brain diseases like add and assburgers

What an absurdly retarded post.

Which is why you can still get a DUI for marijuana in Colorado. They made it legal to use, but if you get in an accident and it's in your system, you're still in trouble.
