it is saying the pot makes Denver a destination for the homeless to move to so they can buy weed.

Bet a bunch of deadbeats moved up there hoping to get one of the jobs that the industry created. Stupid people probably moved up there with no knowledge of the actual job market. They saw Krishna Andavolu on WEEDIQUETTE on VICE, and thought they could move to Colorado, get a job in the industry, and become millionaires in a couple of months.

That's their American dream. It's Trump's fault they haven't reached it.

Colorado
Temporary thread highjack but I noticed the dearth of snacks at the gas stations I stopped at on a trip through Colorado recently.

Drugs are bad that's just the way it is.

So that means you're for getting rid of alcohol sales too, doesn't it?

This wont go well for you

Most OTers think there are no consequences whatsoever to legalization. Pot is the solution to pretty much every problem.

Pot, tatoos, Pitbulls, etc. etc.....there are a number of lowlifes that post here who think everything is "cool" in today's society!

This is a great site to check out state revenue growth by year and compare it to other states. Put in Colorado, then put in your state and look at growth over the last 5 years.

This tells you one side of the impact of legalization that Colorado has recognized.

Fiscal 50: State Trending

To summarize...growth dwarfs the national average over that time, and out paces ever state that I tried it against over that period (I haven't checked every state individually yet).

States like Colorado support deadbeat states like Louisiana, so that's not an issue in this case

I'm in awe of how you missed the point and yet made the point without understanding it.

Congratulations.

It stays in your system for weeks. I would expect the number to be higher, that doesn’t mean that they were high when they wrecked. It just means they’ve used in the last couple weeks. Since it’s legalized of course that number goes up.

yep, its a false narrative and creative fake news.

regular smokers of weed will test positive for it as long as 30 days from the last time they smoked it and simply testing positive has no bearing on impairment at the time of the accident.

it makes for a great fake data talking point to lie and claim alarming rates of accidents caused by high drivers

Visitors to Colorado remark about a new agricultural smell, the wafting odor of pot as they drive near warehouse grow operations along Denver freeways.

Wtf? I just got back from Denver and was shocked by how I rarely saw/smelt it in public.

This opinion piece sure is pretty garbage. It refers to CO leading the country in teen drug use, which is true...

They just left off the statistic that the rate has sharply declined since legalization

This is a very poor, slanted opinion piece that tries to misled readers about the situation

I don't participate in the marijuana, Im an adult with a job. That said, this piece is dogshit
