After the troy loss though, this team and coaching staff turned it around and had a good season

Eeked out a one point win against a terrible Florida team, beat Auburn after the completely melted down on the road in the second half, lost to Bama by two touchdowns, lost the bowl game. That's not a good season. No season where you get curb stomped by State and lose at home to a Sun Belt team can ever be called a good season.

We Will have a capable offense throwing the ball finally

What do you base this on? The play of a QB who has seen no legitimate playing time or the scheme of a guy who was last a full time OC back in the 1990's?

Nope, I love LSU. That's why I refuse to sit idly by while an unqualified neanderthal grinds the sharp point of a once proud program into a dull nub.

Pathetic fans are ones who enable the downfall of a program by lending support to unqualified leadership. True fans are ones who speak truth to power and hold leaders accountable.

So you want O fired... let's say we do this... who do we bring in????? Right now..... according to you LSU will lose 10 games anyway so why prolong it.... get rid of him now and we may salvage the season with some dignity....

If I had my way? O would be shitcanned today and either Ensminger or Aranda would take over as interim head coach. If the higher ups thought that Aranda would be the future, make it him. If they eventually want to go another direction, then promote Ensminger, let him bring on an OC and go from there. I firmly believe either could take over the program today and put out a better product this season than O.

WTF are you talking about? I answered someone else's question.

You know what you can do? Not come on here and parrot the propaganda spit out by O and his minions. That's what you can do.

I hate the hire.

You have indicated that you are holding him accountable and are not accepting of mediocrity. I want to know how you are doing this.

I don't understand the gotcha moment you're going for here. I'm a fan on a message board. I can either be happy and cheery and whistle past the graveyard or loudly and consistently voice my displeasure.

Not a gotcha

Their are a large number of people talking about how the aren’t accepting mediocrity. You specifically mentioned holding him accountable.

Now you are saying you are merely a fan voicing displeasure.

Which is it.

I would like to hold them accountable. I do t see an avenue to do so, I am asking for steps to take to join in.

Actually the first step to irrelevance was the clock management game against ole miss in 2009
LSU probably shouldn't have been in position for there to be any clock issue that night.

The second step was the clock management game against Tennessee in 2010 that we would have lost if Tenn didn't put 13 players in on the final play.
LSU provoked that penalty and UTk wouldn''t have had 13 on the field, had Crowton not installed a different personnel pkg.

final step and nail should've been 1/9/12.We haven't been truly relevant since.
SEC champ, perfect SEC and reg season, 1-1 vs the national champs sure beats losing to Trow, Cowbells and mediocre Irish squad.

Thank god we have internet warriors like your self to wage war against our admins while the rest of us sit idly by.

News flash: all your bitching and negativity doesn’t change a thing. You are doing just as little as the rest of us.

the whole premise is flawed. who is accepting mediocrity? we got rid of miles because he was slipping into mediocrity. because we didn't win a championship last year we have accepted mediocrity?

O doesn't have 5 years to work this out. he's got 2 at most.

just because someone isn't bitching and moaning and hollering and holding temper tantrums on a daily basis does not mean they have accepted mediocrity.

ever hear about reality, or patience?

yes, O failed miserably at Ole Miss. Abe Lincoln failed at politics every time, over and over, until he ran for president. sometimes success is built on failure. sometimes it can't be overcome.

you're just gonna have to hitch up your panties and hold on for 1 or 2 more years. i'm sorry.

There are people saying we had a great season and making a million excuses for a season that would have people at Les’s Throat.

I think O has 2 more seasons just because Alleva have him a big enough buyout to frick us.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Because if this was all that the 'dont accept mediocrity' crowd are doing, well, that would be pretty mediocre.

I cant stand our coaching staff, but there is literally nothing one can do now but let it run the course. It will all end sooner rather than later, but that is all we got.

Of course, get pissed off in October because we did something stupid on the field. But post after post in February is pathetic.

of course you can find an outlier, but the vast majority of the time, when someone fails spectacularly at a prior position, it doesn't mean they'll do great the next time because they learned from their mistakes.

It just means they're not good at that job.

so why don't you give it a chance and see if we have mediocrity under coach O or not?
