I agree that they should have tipped her something, but from her reaction she expected to be tipped on par with actual servers. 15-20 minutes of her time isn't worth $100

I wonder if those 20 minutes were worth losing her job over?

Probably since she’ll file for unemployment and collect while she sits at home and watches Maury

She didn’t deserve a tip.
However the “church” is pathetic for not following thru with the payment. They seem like a class act themselves

Customer pays for 735.00 worth of food, thus keeping the doors open to the business that employs you, and you call them out for not giving you a tip because your fat arse had to, not keep their glasses full or clean their table, but move your legs and hand it to them? GTFOH with that shite. Hey, I am a consistent tipper, even for takeout, but give me a break that it’s the same work that goes involved in waiting a table. bullshite it is. It’s the same work for the back of the house, but that’s not who benefits from tips at most places anyway.

I really hate service industry people who think just because they show up for their job they are ENTITLED to tips. They use the "We don't make enough money here to survive so we count on tips" excuse.

If you're too stupid to get a better paying job then you better do a hell of a job serving me if you expect "Extra" compensation.

Service industry used to be a honorable profession that had people of pride working in it. Now it's just another "You Owe Me" just because dead end job field.

Our pastor asks us to tip generously on Sundays. I honestly believe the church involved just did not think about the situation and would have tipped if they had. Now me, I would have personally, but not even 10%, maybe 30 dollars on this takeout. I usually tip 3 dollars on takeout for a normal order.

I don't think it's the norm to tip on a takeout order. I did it the other day out of habit and wondered why I did it.

Have you ever actually worked in the service industry??

It is very much the norm to tip on takeout from a sit down restaurant. Like I said...it is not the norm to tip like you normally would if you sat down and ate there...but it is customary to give a small tip(like around 10%) of your order.
