I was 21 and my wife was 20. Ten year anniversary will be this July. Waiting till you're thirty is way too long, imho.

I was 23 when I got married. My dad said it was a "mistake I would never overcome". Married now 30 years, 3 daughters (1 in grad school at Maryland, 1 going to college next year and 1 a year later). I have had a wonderful life so far with a wonderful wife.

Nice. My son is 21 and he is "engaged" to his girlfriend.
I am not as concerned as you about it.
If he could go ahead and get married, that would be one out and one to go. My other is 16 and may live with us forever.
