Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation. Some are true and some are false. Some are old and some are new. There is no recovery for someone falsely accused - life and career are gone. Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?

I’m old enough to remember when progressives defended due process and criticized McCarthyism.

I would never hire a female or minority again. The risk is too great.

Perfect example of me completely agreeing with the Prez but wishing he wouldn’t have tweeted this.

Well, thats just bullshite. Tons of these #metoo assholes were busted or admitted to assault, and were rightfully smeared for it. Others, like Aziz Ansari and even Tavis Smiley were vigorously defended by this board.

The innocents, and the over-accused need to start fighting back.

Are you huffing paint this morning?

You are comparing an actual photo of the assault, and subsequent admission and shameful resignation to he said/she said. And even after all of that, many dems begged Franken to stay. Where was your indignation then? What's wrong with how Trump handled Porter? Fire his arse, then remind the people that our in our justice system, the accused have rights. The horror.

Porter may well be guilty, but like Franken he's not America's problem anymore.

That's against the law and they come down hard on it.

The more likely outcome is that employers deny women and minorities the opportunity to participate in events that can lead to individual growth or promotion, like going out for drinks after work to discuss a big project, or staying at the office all night for an emergency strategy session or being a representative at that major convention out of town. Hire them, but stick them in a safe space.

It's basically workplace discrimination de jure.
