Who made Trump fire Miller? He could still be in the White House had not Trump caved. Ditto Gen Kelly. Trump needs to learn to stand up for his beliefs, as fluid as they are.

He blew an opportunity to show the country how due process works. He has no legs to stand on in this instance.

Yeah? He's still never had due process. You know, the concept Trump is championing (rightly so).

I'd bet a hundred bucks to a nickle that Trump thinks Franken was railroaded.

If he didn't do it, he shouldn't have resigned.
The fact you keep stupidly repeating this is an embarrassment to you.

People resign all the time for a variety of reasons and there's no way you're too stupid to know it.

Frankly, if I was Franken, I would have resigned. He became politically non-viable because HIS PARTY is constructed of the rabid pit bulls.

The dude doesn't really NEED the job. Sometimes, the impact on your life just isn't worth it.

He's chilling with his family now and not putting up with silly bull shite questions on a daily basis and his face on the cover of dozens of magazines.

It's just completely moronic of you to pretend you don't know that people step aside for such reasons along with hundreds more.

The left created this nonsense where a wink or a smile can be considered “sexual harassment,” or worse, anytime a person “feels” they’re being harassed.

He was.

I honestly just feigned outrage over it on DU to watch Democrats struggle with the racial double standard and demand due process for Franken but not anyone else.

You haven't lived until you've dealt with someone filing a complaint while deployed because a troop got one of these sent to him in the mail and put it on his desk.

Yup.

Franken was 100% a victim of a pit bull he fully supported for his entire time in office.

Then, the dog bit him.

I don't remember you calling for Roy Moore to step aside. Maybe I'm wrong.

Talk about a political liability

What are you talking about?

I was talking about why a person might choose for THEMSELVES to step aside.

I personally would never push for someone to step aside based solely on allegations short of just overwhelming evidence.

But, I fully understand why some of them would.

Yes you're correct!

McCarthy was indeed right then, and we need McCarthyism now as much as then

None of these half-witted women seemed to take issue with whoopi Goldberg and many other in hollywood defending roman Polanski's rape of a teenage girl.

Frick these fools. They're not even consistent with their foolishness.

He should really frick with Dems and say Harvey Weinstein should demand due process and tell the Naysayers to prove it or STFU.

Their heads will explode in Hollyweird!

I have always been weary of the #MeToo movement because of the fact that a mere allegation is enough to ruin someone's life. I saw what happened to the Duke Lacrosse players 11-12 years ago and don't want to see that kind of thing happen again.

You are babbling like a damn fool, as usual.

You speak of Franken's due process as if he didn't admit to the abuse almost immediately. His undoing was at the hands of democrats. If he was railroaded, it was by his own party, under the crushing standards set by that party. That's what makes your fake arse Porter outrage so marshmallowy delicious.

Colbie Holderness beaten wife number 1.

Need anymore evidence? Perhaps a shot of Porter actually delivering the blow?

Peoples lives are being shattered and destroyed by a mere allegation

It makes me wonder about babysitters I hired a long time ago when my kids were young. Often the girls were dropped off at my house but I drove them back home at night.

If one of them was nuts and claimed I sexually assaulted her I would have probably won in court but my reputation would have been shot to hell.

Today, I wouldn't take the risk.
