BigJ, you have 3 spots, one for Chase, one for Surtain who you think is coming, and one for a high need at QB.

Where does Goodrich fit?

It sounds like we whiffed and Oregeron was left holding the bag with no back up options. Am I reading this wrong? What's the confusion.

Cause im pretty sure guys like michal Williams, Beal, Stewart & Goodrich didn’t wait around to see how it played out or didn’t want to be second opinions. I know MW & Stewart sent their LOI’s this morning & you already have the back story on Goodrich

He had back up plans & told them the only thing he could when you have better players in crosshairs.

What would you guys say differently to backup plans?

Yep total bullshite - Goodrich missed out and went to Clemson because that idiot got played waiting on a QB that had no intention of going to LSU.
Not one CB in this class. The SOB is going to now bring down DBU

I find it hard to believe Coach O can sign 27 players next year to make use of the two "saved" from this class. He has yet to show me that he can get 25 recruits to sign on NSD.

He should've gave Goodrich a commitable offer from jump due to the need at corner.

That was a whiff. If Surtain wanted in then you take 2 corners.

He said they were one of theee for foster. So you still save his spot knowing that it's a 50% chance you get Goodrich or Suratain as opposed to a 33% chance you get the qb?

Why did he even think he could go head to head with jimbo for a qb anyway?

This is the biggest failure on Orgeron's part, imho, especially now that we know Fulton may not even be eligible to play next season. Ed knew that and STILL went on some late push for Foster at the cost of losing Goodrich. That's totally incompetent.

Goodrich was a bigger take than Foster, especially when Foster was a longshot, at best and Goodrich was a very real possibility. And now that we find out that Fulton may not even be eligible for 2018, not ensuring Goodrich was on board is inexcusable.

I see what your saying but they’d thought Surtain was a sure thing. It’s a tough situation with a hard cap.

If he said this, how can anyone defend this idiot?

That's down right absurd. That was the plan?

It is beyond ridiculous. They continue to count their eggs before they hatch..

Now it moves on to next recruiting cycle? That is PURE shite.

This ignorance should completely outrage people. Just when I thought I could feel apathetic, O finds a way to rile me back up in disgust.

What an idiot. What other coach in the country would say something that stupid?
