Red Lion casino used to fly a plane out of Shreveport for regulars back in the 80s. I went once with a friend. Loved the Ruby Mts.

Can you present some facts to back up your assertion? Going there soon and was under the impression it was safe.

Areas with the most liberals have the most violent crime in this country.

Ruby Mountains are amazing. They are just out there in the middle of the desert, not even a part of any mountain range. Really steep and rugged peaks. That area is a little oasis. I saw the terminal cancer chute near the end of summer and wondered if you could ride it in winter. There's a video of some guys riding up it on sleds and getting air lifted off the top. I can only imagine the adrenaline rush. That climb must be around 60 degrees right up a narrow rock chute.

The Ruby Mts are fabulous. In the late 1970s, I spent a summer working out of a ranch at the base of the mountains while doing a biological assessment of the region. I would be flown to ridgetops via helicpter and conducted surveys as I hiked down to the valley...best job ever. Great bass fishing in Ruby Lake to add frosting to the cake.

South Texas would be a pretty good answer, especially just SW of San Antonio
Where specifically? I used to live in Hondo and my father used to work in Pearsall.

OT never fails to surprise me. I didn't expect anyone on here to know about the Rubies except Roger.

You just had to make it a race issue eh?

Camden, NJ. There are parts similar to places in nola east where cops don’t go in there. There was an article in rolling stone a couple years ago about it being an open air drug market. Pretty lawless if that qualifies.

What parts of NO East do police not visit?

You can get a speeding ticket for riding you bike too fast on the boardwalk. And can’t be on the beach after dark. No drinking on the beach. Etc. did have a bike stolen a few years ago. Don’t leave them unsecured.

I would have said the Lower 9th Ward, home of the actual Lawless High School...
