Meh....all depends on how they "gathered" their information.

I wrote a paper in grad school about this and through some research found some interesting info.

While typically the south is the fattest, we are also the most honest.

A lot of these studies are nothing more than telephone interviews. What was found out, that in some of the fat cities up north (Minnesota/Wisconsin, cold/harsh winter states) people lied about their weight.

Don’t blame this on demographics. There are a ton of overweight white people in the south.

It’s partly a consequence of having better food.

My wife is a slave (resident dr) at lsu shreveport. It is a shitton, maybe a little more.
