Nice find.

Stand out stats

quote:

Lillard's free throw rate (FTA/FGA) of 0.188 (18/96) was his lowest rate against any Western Conference opponent

quote:

Jrue Holiday was both the most common defender on Lillard and the most common defender on McCollum. They both shot better than 50 percent on those possessions

Might be better to let him focus on one. I’d lean C.J. Let Dame get his and make everyone else beat you.

quote:

Added Mirotic and Emeka Okafor around the same time (early February). From that point on, they outscored their opponents by 10.7 points per 100 possessions in 576 minutes with Davis on the floor with Mirotic, and by 4.4 points per 100 possessions in 218 minutes with Davis on the floor with Okafor

Nice.

GSW looked pretty solid today and Curry was seen running around during warm-ups.

Also the start of the WAS @ TOR game was delayed for a bit due to WATER ON THE CORUT. Doesnt sound familiar does it?

I read that and say Jrue Holiday has the most significant impact on whether we win or lose this game

Nikola Mirotic played 40 minutes last nite and was tasked with playing both ends likely harder than he ever has in his career so far. He and davis on the floor together basically make nurkic unplayable

to me, that’s the key

they were both gassed at the end of the game and the question is, is that kind of effort sustainable? I think gentry has to consider getting okafor and diallo more minutes because you know Portland is going to adjust

I had the pels in 6 in my NBA bracket challenge. Feeling good about it and going to game 6 at the SKC now

this is my worry moving forward. we basically have confidence in 7 players. Rondo, Jrue, Moore, Mirotic, AD, Miller, and Clark. Thats it

We need one (preferably all) of Mek, Diallo, or Solo to really step up and be efficient this series because with the amount of minutes AD, Jrue, Rondo, and Mirotic will play, they need some rest.

However we have 2 days rest in between games after a March and April that we were playing every other night and sometimes 4 games in 5 night or something like that.

I also think gentry was desperate to make sure we got the steal.

I'd go into game 2 trying to win, but if it gets out of hand quickly than we need to rest and make sure we protect home court.

respectfully disagree
this is not a west coast road trip BTB

best way to get fresh is to shorten the series. Regardless of matchups the blazers are not the better team. The pels may not be either (ie this could easily go either way) but they do have the best player

the path to beating this team again is to cut out the turnovers and figure out a way to keep them off the offensive boards. if they can do that, they can ride the best player in the series to an easy series win

I'm saying if they're up 20 going onto the 4th, you're gonna want AD to push 40+ instead of just 30~. Anything can happen, but last night those guys were worn down.

the Kawhi Leonard saga is getting stranger...
pop said today that if you want to know his status you’ll have to “check with kawhi’s team”, and then within hours his “team” leaked TWO statements, first that he’s steady rehabbing so that’s why he not with the team, then that he’s out for the rest of the postseason
