Because, even though you say what you want, people always seem to frick it up.

A point reinforces what you want.

For the record, I'm not a pointer, but I see why they do it when my sandwich has random unwanted condiments on it.

Subway is trashy.

Bc the people that work there typically don’t give a frick and/or incompetent.

I don’t go to subway anymore bc it’s like they don’t understand what a sandwich is. You tell them you want some pickles (or other condiment) and they take a huge handful of pickles and throw it on top. 3 or 4 pickles is plenty. Don’t need 1/2” layer of pickles on there.
