Wasn't he double teamed? He should have been double teamed regardless b/c we should have been rushing 3 instead of 4. That was one situation where QB having all day to throw would have been a good thing.

I am a huge Cam Jordan fan. I'm not a believer in games being rigged but gosh almighty he laid just as big of a egg on that play as Williams.

No he was not doubled teamed and beat his man & had a clear shot at the QB and spun backwards and away from the QB allowing the pass to get thrown.

Jesus. How many games has he dominated by himself. Hard to pass rush with no help and double team

Both this example and the Williams example tend to demonstrate that, in their determination to avoid any Defensive penalty on the last play of the game, the Saints Defense did not defend against the play at all.

Any NFL team can score in one play, if the Defense declines to offer any defense of the play.

The clear fact is that, in today's NFL, 3 point leads are not safe anywhere on the field, even if the opposing Offense has no time outs.

The devastating and game changing impact of Defensive PI or Roughing the Passer is so very dangerous that a good DC will lean towards offering no defense at all on the play.

The only solution is to have more than a TD lead at the 2:00 Warning of the 4th Quarter.

Lol...you think that video shows Cam dogged it? The tackle clearly chips him enough to make him over pursue and Keenum stepped up in the pocket and threw the pass.

You should be banned for ST, TD, and life.

Seriously, how do you get that from that clip?

He forced pressure of the edge and made keenum step into the pocket. No interior pressure

He didn’t have a clear shot. The OL pushed him back as he was approaching Keenum and he spun in an attempt to get back to Keenum.

You’re just seeing what you want to see. Jordan has been playing his arse off in almost every game for us for the last few years. So frick you!

What a ignorant fricking thread. Keenum steps into the pocket and he tries to spin back to the middle to make the play.

If that is an obvious to you then you are drooling baffoon

Thanks for the video clip. It was very interesting. Maybe Cam should have bull-rushed his way through to the QB on that play but I that's not the same as saying he deliberately whiffed on the play.

The failed 3rd and one was much, much bigger. We get that first down, the game is over.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

BEEN SAYING!!! cover 3 man under. everybody has a man with 3 safties helping deep over the top. he would most probably have to hold ball and just throw a hail mary into EZ at end. saints win.

I thought he was too. After rewatching the play, he was not double teamed but the tackle did an excellent job pushing him upfield past the QB and shoving him down.

Interesting point....

It wouldn't have mattered in this play, but given how many times we got gashed for 30 and 40 yard PI calls (many of which were just handchecking overreactions by the refs) I wonder if the NFL should institute two kinds of PI calls, the way the NBA handles flagrant fouls. PI1 is something that just rises above incidental contact and results in 15 yards (or maybe 5 yards and a first down like D Holding). PI2 is reserved for that play everyone is worried about if you eliminate PI altogether, a defensive player pulling a guy down rather than give up a big play. That penalty would still be spot of the foul.

EDIT: Yes I know it will never happen because the NFL wants to encourage big play pass attempts
