Skip Bayles approves this thread.
He thinks Belechick made Brady.
When Belechick sucked as a HC with very good QBs...
He only started winning divisions and then Super Bowls by a very narrow margin btw...when he got Brady.
If BB was some super-genius, why are all his SB wins under 7 points?
Without Brady, they probably lose all those close games.
It's not like BB was Bill Walsh destroying everyone. He's scraped by and with some admitted cheating against the Rams.
Brady totally puts him over the edge to the AFC title every year. And even with Brady, they scrape by.
BB was basically a loser as a HC coach with losing seasons after losing seasons before he got Brady.
BB just lost all the time, non-stop. 36-44.

gee didn't he win that one without Gronk?

First off.
Your title is dumb enough that I'm replying without giving your the time of day.
2nd, yes, he's overrated a tiny bit and most likely not the best QB who has ever lived.

Like the 56th thread that's argued this, people just gonna hate instead of celebrate par for the course

He's won 4 without Gronk.

. Also without Gronk his true colors start to show
Brady's won 5 rings, only 1 of which Gronk has actually played in.

Prepare for a flurry of downvotes. I’ve been saying that for years.

Correct. They lost in 2011 when Gronk returned from injury T.O. style. Actually, from what I remember, Gronk had a chance to catch the last hail mary in that game and kinda chickened out.

If you watch Undisputed, Skip actually argues the opposite he's a huge TB12 lover almost to the point that I think they're conducting an adulterous affair lol

I can't believe anyone watches that shite. Shannon Sharpe vs Skip Bayless? That's like watching DMX debate Logan Paul.

Like when they won the Super Bowl without him?
The Patriots won the Super Bowl without their best fricking player last year. Think about that.

He is a great system qb, nothing more, nothing less. Which isn't bad. It just is what it is

I think he's slightly overrated when we're talking "GOAT". He's definitely not better than Montana.
Its no different than Jordan vs LeBron
"But at least he got there". I know Brady has 5 to montana's 4, but seriously...
Montana is Jordan
Brady is LeBron
Montana's SB Stats:
83 completions, 122 attempts, 68.03 completion%, 1142 yards, 9.36 YPA, 11 TDs, 0 INTs, 127.8 Passer Rating, 4-0
Per game: 20.75 completions, 30.5 attempts, 285.5 YPG, 2.75 TDs
Brady's SB Stats:
207 completions, 309 attempts, 67.00 completion%, 2071 yards, 6.7 YPA 15 TDs, 5 INTs, 95.3 Rating, 5-2
Per game: 29.57 completions, 44.14 attempts, 295.9 YPG, 2.14 TDs, 0.71 INTs
That's in a passing era vs Montana's era that didn't tilt towards the offense. Also 6.7 YPA is literally bottom 10 while 9.36 goes into MVP category.
Personally this is how I view it, if you're saying in 2000 you can have your pick of any QB in this era to start...you'd pick Manning before Brady.

Well I don't watch that shite.
I had just seen on here that Skip championed BB made Tom Brady.
I guess he champions the opposite.
Which the evidence suggests more than the other...considering BB record before Brady.
There's no doubt, BB hit the lottery with Tom Brady - they win playoffs and SBs by slim margins and the difference is almost always Brady.
Not BB...who as a defensive so-called genius...his defenses have always screwed the pooch in the last minutes after Brady gave them the win.
Every SB BB has lost is because of his so-called defensive prowress of which he calls and not the offense.
His vaunted defense...vs. the Giants, the Giants again, the Falcons - where Tom Brady saved his arse. BB has nothing to do with the offense. And his defenses has been shown to fail big time in the Super Bowl.

When people try and put Montana in the Brady Peyton(or even Bress Favre Marino Unitas Elway)
conversation you know not to take their opinion seriously.
He belongs in the Bradshaw Starr category. Very Good QB on Great Teams

How is that not true?
Name me the SB with the big Patriot defensive dominance?
Name it...the one where the Pats just went all Giants on you from the 80's.
Not the Patriot last second FG or last second fluke interception.
Seahawks, Giants, Falcons, driving all over their asses.
BB is supposed to be the defensive genius (that is why they win SB we are told.)
What fricking SB have they ever won with their defense and not Brady?
They had Junior Seau and Bruschi and couldn't shut down Eli fricking Manning, twice.
THey couldn't shut-down RUssell Wilson and got lucky by a stupif goal line call.
