For anyone moving around Metry, David Drive overpass was the only one open over the interstate. Causeway, Clearview, and Cleary were shut down.

Wife needs to get to BR tonight. Any estimates on when roads might open up.

Transcontinental is an option, as it crosses under I-10.

Forgot about that one. Was going to take Williams (which is way out of my way) before I saw David Drive was open. All of the overpasses above the train tracks near Airline were closed too. Central wasn't moving as many people were slipping back down the incline for the tracks, so I went all the way out to Little Farms and backtracked.

Saw a video of an ole baw in a jacked up Silverado in Lafayette on Johnston St. by Gulf Coast Bank. He was stuck in the middle of the road, tires spinning, not going anywhere.

Take the kids and do like my old man did in the ‘65 Lincoln Continental with the suicide door. He’d have a Pall Mall glowing and say “ put the damn window up son, you’re letting all the smoke out.”
