You mean the time, that they formed a bipartisan consensus with Republicans on immigration, but the President refused the plan just on the heels of saying "I’ll sign whatever bill they send me"

If the government shuts down, with repubs in control of the WH, and both chambers of congress, and a bipartisan deal on the very topic precluding a CR and the president refused, there's no way this will get laid on the Dems (well outside of safespaces like the Poli board)
